New York, NY – June 14, 2022 – Minds, the alternative social network on a mission to elevate global discourse, is hosting a live event on June 25, 2022 at the historic Beacon Theatre in New York City. The purpose of the event is to bring people together IRL from across the social and political spectrum to facilitate real conversations, human connection and the evolution of ideas.
MINDS: Festival of Ideas will feature prominent voices who will come together to have civil dialogue on the important topics of the day, such as how to improve social media moderation, healing our cultural divide, navigating misinformation online and more. The goal of the event is to create a space to engage honestly with others in open dialogue surrounding divisive ideas in hopes to bridge the current divide and create a path to a healthier discourse and reduce extremism.
The event boasts a lineup of thought leaders from all different political and cultural backgrounds, including Tulsi Gabbard, Tim Pool, Dr. Cornel West, James O’Keefe, Ben Burgis, Coleman Hughes, Daryl Davis, Steven Bonnell, Zuby, Seth Dillon, Bill Ottman, Ian Crossland, Blaire White, Nick Gillespie, Winston Marshall, Maajid Nawaz, Margaret Kimberley and Libby Emmons. The event will be hosted by comedian Chrissie Mayr and will feature stand-up comedy between panels from Ryan Long, John Fugelsang and Tyler Fischer.
