Lockdowns Don't Work and Politics Don't Matter with COVID-19: Charts and Data that Supports this Idea

I conducted a pull of the CDC's nationwide COVID-19 stats and ran a visualization of the data with the added dimension of governor's political party in the data.

From Gavin Newsom's policies to Ron DeSantis' policies on lockdowns... the wide spectrum of state imposed lockdown policies have not really made much a difference either way.

I built a ton of data visualizations to prove this, since I've been saying this all year. Democrat or Republican, lockdown or no lockdown, your state pretty much suffers based off of total population and how competent your state agencies and hospitals are.
