You, my children, will first be honored by the manifestation that the divine person is appearing in the world. A star will go before you to lead you to the place of your birth, and when you find it, you will give gifts to Him, oblations and sacrifices, for He is indeed their Lord and eternal King. " - Zarathustra

Were the three "kings" wizards mastoid, Zoroastrian?

"According to a thirteenth-century Laurentian manuscript preserved in Florence, Zoroaster would have predicted that a virgin would give birth to a son who would be sacrificed by the Jews and then ascend to heaven."

"Zoroastrianism is the oldest of the religions of the world that have been revealed, and probably has more influence on Humanity, directly or indirectly, than any other faith alone ... Zarathustra was then the first to teach doctrines such as that people will be judged after they die, that of the existence of Heaven and Hell, that of the future resurrection of the body, that of the Last Judgment, and that of eternal life reuniting body and soul. faith familiar to the majority of humanity through loans made by Judaism, Christianity and Islam ... " - Mary Boyce

The German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche took the name Zarathustra to write Also Sprach Zarathustra, Ein Buch für Alle und Keinen, a book that significantly influenced the modern world.

In Zarat's doctrine, before the world existed, two spirits or antagonistic principles reigned: the Spirits of Good (Ahura Mazda, Spenta Mainyu, or Ormuzd) and Evil (Angra Mainyu or Ahriman).

Minor deities, geniuses, and spirits helped Ahura Mazda rule the world and fight Ahriman and the evil legion.

Among the auxiliary deities, as recorded in the Avesta, the most important was Mithra, a beneficent God who served as the judge of souls.

At the end of the third century d. C, the religion of Mithra was merged with solar cults of oriental origin, configuring itself in the worship of the Sun.

Ahriman is represented as a serpent.

Creator of all that is evil (crime, lies, pain, drought, darkness, disease, sins, among others), he is the hostile, destructive spirit that lives in the desert among eternal shadows.

Ahura Mazda, however, is the original Creator, organizer of the world so perfect.

Ahura Mazda is also represented as the Divine Plowman, which shows the rooting of worship in agricultural civilization, in which cultivating the land was a sacred duty.

On the cosmological plane, however, he is the creator of the Universe and the human race, with powers to sustain and provide all beings, in the supreme Light and glory.

Zoroastrianism is a positivistic, ethical religion based on the knowledge and individual responsibility that emerged in ancient Persia (today Iran), and its precepts and teachings are contained in the sacred scriptures now known as Zend Avesta.

The basis of the Avesta is a set of hymns (or gathas) that speak of the creating God Ahura Mazda.

The Avatar of Zoroastrianism, Prophet Zarathustra.

The English (or Latinized) name "Zoroaster" is derived from a later translation.

Therefore, using the names “Zaraϑuštra", Zarathustra, Zarathushtra, or Zoroaster are all correct and generally accepted equally among those who study him.

It tells his official story that every day he was awakened by an eagle, at the time when the sun was going to be born.

After years of meditation and holy living, Zarathustra heard the voice of Ahura Mazda - the God of the Good - who made him revelations, interactively. It is this interaction that Zend Avesta describes.

Zarathustra preached the practice of good and instituted the worship of the Sacred Fire, which symbolized the Divinity revealed to him.

Zarathustra, lived and produced the writing of his scriptures—the foundation of Zoroastrianism--somewhere between the 6th and the 18th Century b.C.--the later date due to the mention in an ancient Greek work which refers to Zarathustra as having been born “300 years before Alexander”.

This time period was also when King Darius, the son of King Vishtaspa, who is mentioned frequently in the Gathas, is documented as having lived.

The Gathas

Other scholars speculate that the later year is more accurate, as the language used in the Gathas, Gathic Avestan, bears many similarities to a version of the Sanskrit which dated from 1500-1200 b.C, an idea which some theorize does not negate the stipulation of the later birthdate, as often language used in sacred or poetic literature is different than the colloquial language of the day.

The language issue has also been attributed to the concept that while Gathic Avestan was no longer used in conversation, it was still known and studied, similar to the way that Latin, while it is considered a “dead” language, is still studied and known among scholars.

And it is the Gathas the main document that allows us to know the life and religious thought of Zoroaster.

The Gathas comprise seventeen hymns --- sometimes described as poems - written in ancient Iranian meter, composed by Zarathustra himself.

The purpose of the Gathas was to evangelize to the people of the world the truths revealed by Ahura Mazda to Zarathustra.

These 17 hymns (also referred to as Hati, Haiti, or later, HAs) are made up of 238 stanzas (6000 words in total) and are later divided into separate chapters, or "Yasnas" as follows:

Vohu Manah: “Good Mind/Purpose” Spirit of divine wisdom, light, and love

Asha Vahishta: “Excellent Order”, or “Truth” Spirit of Fire and Providence

Khshathra Vairya: “Desirable Dominion” Spirit of Power and Metal

Spenta Armaiti: “Beneficent Devotion” Spirit of Faith and Devotion

Haurvatāt: “Wholeness or Perfection” Spirit of Water and Plants, ands sister of

Amərətāt: “Immortality” Spirit of Water and Plants

Zoroastrian ideology of good vs. evil may have sprung, although there are likely many other social and political issues as well.

While the concept of good vs. evil seems simple enough as an ideology, the religion founded by Zarathustra goes much further and includes not only good deeds versus evil deeds, but the categorization of all things-both living and not-either good or evil.

By extension, humanity's involvement with the thing of which is to be counted as either promoting evil and darkness in the world, referred to as druj, and therefore championing Ahriman, the God of Death, or the engagement with only things and people which areassociated with goodness, also known as Asha, resulting in the advancement of Ormuzd, Omniscient Creator.

Alliance with one result in the direct deterioration of the other.

But Zoroastrianism is not a dead religion.

It still remains alive and active.

Less than 200,000 individuals practice Zoroastrianism today.

And it was in the cradle of his birth that they tried to decree his end.

In 1979.

And not long ago, but precisely in 2017, the Iranian city of Qom, a symbolic place where Ayatollah Khomeini started riots against the imperial regime in 1979, was the scene of demonstrations against the Mullahs, where protesters shouted "we want the return of the Shah!".

Shah of the modern Persian شاه, transl. Šāh, king or emperor.

Tehran Deputy Governor Mohsen Hamadani denounced a double conspiracy of the monarchists and the Mujahedin against the state.

The Ayatollah Asadollah Imani had also violently denounced a monarchist conspiracy after the meeting around the tomb of 'Cyrus the Great', however banned, accusing the Shah's supporters of creating 'a false legend around the person of Cyrus with the help of Israel ".

Last Shah of Iran. Reza Pahlavi

See that in the sword of the last Shah, (deposed in the ayatollahs revolution), there is a symbol of Zoroastrianism.

This is no accident: He stood against the Islamic leaders, because he was not a Muslim but a Zoroastrian.

The Pahvali dynasty has always been Zoroastrian.

Against the islam values.

It is the first religion with human ethics in history.

The first Religion of morality and ethic.

The first Religion of the new man.

But it was relegated to oblivion.

And suppressed by other religions.

But nothing in this life is by chance.

Everything has a reason.

A purpose.

A mission.

And Zoroastrianism has its own.

And I believe the prophet has fulfilled his mission.

With praise.
