The Ovrorganti are one of, if not the, most anciet humanoid race in Amythro. If nothing else, they were the first rulers of the continent. Through their mighty hands, rivers were tamed, forests planted, and mines constructed. They were the ones who banished the watery serpents to the depths of Dragon Lake, and out of the Northern Mountains for good.

They and the Syverenians have always had a close relationship, dating back to the time when humans were deigned by the gods to become the new rulers of Amythro. As both the Syverenians and Ovorganti believe, Syverenians may indeed be of mixed blood between humans and Ovorganti. Their history is so intertwined that it is hard to tell whether that is myth or reality. This is further muddled by the shared physical traits (the fiery red eyes, blue-grey colored skin, and mighty stature -- though Ovorganti are a staggering twelve foot tall, and Syverenians a mere seven). Their customs and religions are blended so well that they visit each other's religious temples, shrines, and monasteries.

However close they may be, the Ovorganti know from their prophets that they are forbidden from further interbreeding with the humans, even those who may very well be their next of kin. The Ovorganti were banished to the depths of the mountains, and all other lands were stripped from them. Upon their exit from the majority of the continent, things grew wild and untamed. Many times the Ovorganti have pleaded with their prophets to intercede for them and humanity so that they can make the lands domesticated once more. Those pleas are only answered with the words, "The time has not yet come." And so, they await the our when they shall make their procession throughout the continent, righting the wrongs that have been done to each of the peoples of Amythro and restoring order once and for all.

As a reminder of their being prisoners to the Council of the Gods, they wear chains around their body. From birth until the grave, no hour passes without the bondage of their people's past transgressions, and so, they wear their chains in full display at all times.

The Prophesy

There is a prophesy that is seldom uttered to those who are not prophets themselves. This prophesy tells a tale of foreigners coming from across the vast oceans and laying waste the majority of the human establishments for the terrible deeds that they have been committing. At that time, and only at that time, shall the Ovorganti be allowed to make their procession from the mountain, fighting back the invading armies, and becoming equals to the humans that they themselves had wronged in the past. It is only through this act that they shall be redeemed within the eyes of the gods, so at all times, they must be vigilant for that day, no matter how far into the future it may lay.
