The Promise of an Artist, not a Teacher
I am in a constant state
of evolution
Every time I think I get a “grip”
on this reality,
it shifts...
So here is my promise
to the world,
to myself,
to future generations,
for whom I am inspired to create:
I am going to stop trying to
understand,
instead,
I am going to experience,
document, and
share it,
with you.
I am merely a historian, a philosopher, an architect of dreams, a designer of realities, a visionary, a seer, a seeker, a hopeful optimist, a child of all, and a person hoping,
praying,
that good comes of my existence.
That is my promise,
to you,
to myself,
to the Universe.
May we all live to see that day(s)
that humanity is free,
free to do as it pleases,
free to love and live as it chooses,
free to exist,
free to create,
free to explore,
free to hope,
free to pray,
free to know,
and free to simply “be.”
That is my prayer, my hope, and my promise.
