Happy Spring! Aaron and I can't get enough of this refreshing Colorado weather. It really is the best. Not only is it inspiring me to be outside more often, but I've felt encouraged to do extra "spring cleaning."
On that topic, I was re-organizing cupboards the other day when I found several cans of organic pumpkin. It reminded me of this pumpkin spice smoothie - a treat that doesn't deserve to be made just in the fall. The first thing I did, of course, was make a CBD-infused pumpkin pie smoothie.
The recipe is below. I hope you enjoy!
Serving Size: 2
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
1 cup almond milk
2 frozen bananas (peel and chop beforehand)
1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
1 tsp fresh ginger
2 pitted medjool dates
1 Tbsp hemp seeds
20 mg CBD oil
1 Tbsp raw honey
1 pinch of turmeric (optional)
1 cup ice, cubed
1 Tbsp hemp seeds
pinch of sea salt
Spices:
1/8 tsp vanilla powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp all spice
1) Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and combine until smooth.
