People living in remote regions have trouble accessing electric power and water grids and
yet have energy and water needs for their daily existence. LFree is hybridizing old and
innovative technologies, using solar energy to recycle wastewater and produce electricity
and drinking water. It provides ability to keep a continuous and constant power production
and to overcome the vagaries of weather in terms of renewable energy. LFree stores
electricity excess produced during day for night use or shares it over a smart grid. Its
size, autonomy, robustness and simplicity make it an environmental-friendly technology
cleaning wastewater from persistent toxic substances while reducing greenhouse gases
emissions. LFree offers a permanent solution to local sustainable and economic development
through circular economy. It reduces carbon footprint by reducing production of greenhouse
gases.
