Hello, and thanks for checking out another blog of mine! This time, were going to look at the actual progress of my own mystery snails, and their eggs and offspring. If you missed it, i have another blog called "Mystery Snail Keeping" which explains how to successfully keep Mystery snails, and create an environment right for them in your home aquarium. This time im showing you guys how far my snails have come since then, and show you how quick and easy it is to breed these snails.
IMPORTANT: Snails are living creatures, and if they are houzed together, they will breed. Mystery snails hatch and grow in freshwater, not brackish like many other species. If your snails reproduce, and you are unable to care for them, please DO NOT release them in the wild. Many animal species are invasive, and may hurt an ecosystem they do not belong to. If you cant keep your snails, please check with your local pet stores, or attempt to find another caregiver to take them off your hands. Thanks!
If youre considering keeping mystery snails, but would like more info on caring for them, or would like more content on this type of snail, be sure to check out my other blog here: https://www.minds.com/lapreptiles/blog/mystery-snail-keeping-1005183977228378112

One last look in...
So far ive had a ton of success keeping and breeding mystery snails, i definitely think they are my favorite snail species, as they are fully freshwater, breed easily, and look absolutely amazing. I cant wait to watch and show you guys as these baby snails grow big on their own. If youre breeding snails, Kh is very important, without calcium they cant properly make their eggs, and will not breed easily. Also ph and temp are very important. Keep your nitrates low, but having excess food is one way to encourage your snails to breed quicker. For more info on caring for these snails, check out my other blog dedicated to keeping mystery snails!
Stay tuned, ill keep updating this blog as time goes on to ensure you all stay updated!
