So I've never written a blog before and I'm not really sure if there is supposed to be a structured pattern for blog posts or if I'm just supposed to ramble on and hope ya'll read the whole thing.  I will be working on posts a little bit at a time so hopefully the thoughts will still flow and the post wont be too choppy to read.

I've created this first post to introduce you to me and my ministries.  First of all I am an incurable lover of Jesus Christ.  I live to serve him and strive to obey him and glorify him in all I say and do.  I've have created this account on minds because of my lack of faith in other social media platforms.  They are starting to ban or censor Christians more and more on their platforms and I've created this account out of the interest of my ministry and my right to freedom of speech.

I moved to North Carolina in 2013 after a few tough years in Northwest, PA.  Tough spiritually and financially.  Moving to North Carolina was a great "reset" or fresh start as it were.  The first Church my wife and I visited was Beacon Baptist Church in Burlington, NC.  We have been at that Church ever since then and now we are official members of the Church, and we help out in the Toddlers Sunday morning class.  Obviously my primary mission field is my family.  I am married (going on 10 years this July) and I have 2 amazing sons (3yrs and the other is 3 months old).  Secondary ministries for me include preaching, sidewalk counseling and prayer at the back ally abortion clinic in Greensboro, NC.  I have posted some of that content on my other social media accounts and I am hoping to start posting most of my content here on minds.  Please pray for the abortion ministry specifically.  We are just one of the hundreds if not thousands of abortion mill ministries throughout the United States.

That being said I do not like to identify myself as "Pro-Life".  I consider myself an abolitionist.  Whats the difference you might ask? Well over and over the Pro life movement has failed to stop abortion.  They are continually settling for legislation that regulates but still allows the murder of unborn babies.  If you read some of these pieces of legislation they rely on the very people that are murdering these children to be honest about what they are doing, and there is also no one around enforcing these laws that are being passed, so ultimately they have had zero effect on abortion.  Many "pro life" bills do not criminalize the act of abortion.  So what incentive is there for people to follow the law that is made? They do not have to worry about any consequences for breaking those laws.  Along the same lines are these "heartbeat" bills.  These are just as bad as other "pro life" bills.  They are worded saying "if a heartbeat is detected an abortion can not be performed".  Once again you are relying on an ultrasound tech who could be pro choice and all they have to do is turn the sound off during the exam and they can say they didn't detect a heart beat, even if it is visible on the screen to the tech (also not all techs allow the mothers to watch the screen).  So if someone goes into a planned parenthood for an ultra sound the tech can say, "I didn't detect a heart beat, we need to do a DNC" (which is an abortion), even if there was a true heartbeat they can say they didn't detect one and do the procedure.  I have talked to people at the clinic and heard other testimonies from women who have said an abortion clinic or a planned parenthood has told them their baby didn't have a heart beat (actually those places dont say "baby" they say fetus - which is a baby) and then they either got on our ultra sound booth or went to their primary doctor and discovered there was a heart beat and the baby was fine but the clinics were lying to them just to get their money for an abortion procedure.

There are probably dozens of other reasons I haven't mentioned and I dont have the time to mention now but complete abolition of human abortion and the criminalization of the doctor and the mother is the only true way to protect these tiny human lives.  They are made in the image of Almighty God and it is our duty to speak up and save them.  God is bringing judgement on America (if it is not already here, and It may be, that is a discussion for a different time) and if we stand idly by and do nothing we are condoning the murder of babies (Romans 1) and we are piling up the wrath of God on our own heads.  Its not about wether or not you think you would be a good preacher or counselor or whatever your excuse is for not going out there to save lives, it is irrelevant.  All Christians know how to pray, hold a sign and pray for an hour or 2 a week at a clinic.  When I started I didn't think I would be preaching as much as I have been either but now I am, the Lord will use you how he wants to use you.  Stop making excuses and go do HIS work.

This post did turn from an introduction of my ministry to a rant about what has been on my mind all week, but if you continue to read my posts you'll find out that it will be pretty common for me to start talking about one thing and then go off on something else.  Hope you enjoyed reading this.  Get out there and Share the Gospel Christian, you have no excuses.
