After leaving facebook I decided to make the crypto-social network, minds.com, my new online home.

Ridding yourself of BigTech in Three Easy Steps
If you're unfamilar with Minds.com, this open-source, blockchain based social network, actually rewards its users for their participation and users can have their earned rewards transfered to an crypto-currency exchange. Tokens are stored on the Ethereum public blockchain and are accessible from outside of the Minds platform, which is key for further decentralization. The "on-chain" transactions, however, require a small Ethereum “gas” fee, which is the incentive for the Ethereum miners to process the transaction.

I've been looking at the alternatives and have arrived at three alternatives. I continue to explore other possibilities since we're clearly now ay a cross-roads in technological evolution.
Since I mostly use Facebook and Twitter, I made it my priority to investigate alternatives to these two networks. Now, having spent a couple of weeks using the alternatives, I've decided to stick with:-

At the moment, I would recommend CoinBase as an exchange which provices wallets which support various currencies aswell as providing a comprehensive trading platform.
