Skeptic ๐Ÿ„ Shaman

Documenting my own journey exploring consciousness and looking for the antidote to anxiety, and the link between science and spirituality through meditation, psychedelics, and other methods. I wasn't into any of this until very recently. It all started this summer with my first attempts at meditating and the unexpectedly intense results of those experiments. I just had my first trip on mushrooms a few weeks ago. I'd like to stay open to unconventional interpretations, but at the same time hold on to reason and critical thinking as anchors. I might have to tie myself to my ship like Odysseus did. Or avoid getting too high like Ikarus did. Wish me luck.

Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT Tapping is a great natural way to reduce anxiety. Literally you can "tap" into your body's natural healing abilities by tapping on the body's energy meridian points. "Even though I am anxious about ______, I love and accept myself." #anxiety #selfhealing
