We are Terry and Teresa Mackie, an American retired couple living in Puerto Cayo, Ecuador. We moved here in December of 2014 to live a simpler life and to minister to the local people of Ecuador. Soon that evolved into starting a small church and making disciples for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which we are dedicated to where ever we live.

I want to give daily Bible scriptures on a weekly basis as well as hopefully do in-depth Bible studies on the weekend. I want to connect and share with everyone share the likes share the love. Together let us all support each other and our channels. I have had a life like Job in the bible much suffering and loss including most of my family. Still god will restore 10 fold to me as sin brought sorrow, but as I grew close to Jesus Christ I found freedom from sin. My name is Richard Morrissey but I go by John. I am an adventurer at heart. I’ve traveled the globe and have embraced and enjoyed many cultures. Malaysia, Egypt, and much of Western Europe have given me such amazing experiences. Never stop adding to your bucket list. California has been okay for me. I’ve been in trouble here. I’ve been married here, and divorced. I’ve also completed most of my schooling here, gained a degree in Religious Studies at the University of California. My then wife and I joined an organization called Stephen Ministry, through our church. It’s a service where we walked beside people who were going through difficult times. My main focus was to support the other ministers. An MFT offers me much, as someday I hope to hang out my own shingle. When not reading, walking beside friends, stabbing stuff with a spear, drawing or helping out my mother, I like to write. I belong to a writers group, a forum I can only recommend to anyone. In 2015 I published my first dark-fantasy novel, Conversion, and I’m about half-way trough writing book two of the trilogy.
