Given all the stories that have been floating around about Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein, I just read through the entire Robert Maxwell entry on Wikipedia - normally not a useful source for anything that is even remotely political, but this article is quite fascinating. There may be some inaccuracies, omissions or misrepresentations, but overall, it seems to be pretty well supported by historical evidence.
Ian Robert Maxwell MC (born Ján Ludvík Hyman Binyamin Hoch; 10 June 1923 – 5 November 1991) clearly had an interesting life, to say the least, packed with trauma, successes and failures. He was born into a poor orthodox Jewish family in Czechoslovakia. Retain his date of death, the 5th November 1991, it will be relevant!

World War II, Israel and Politics
He fled the Nazis, joined the Czech resistance army in France, went to the UK, joined their regular army and participated on the assault on the Normandy beaches. He got a medal for taking out a machine gun during the assault, which shows that he had courage and determination.
The story about how he got the very same journalist who started out calling him a liar and a crook to write his authorized biography would in itself be worthy of some elaboration. He obviously didn't hold a grudge and instead decided that this guy had balls and intelligence.
The fact that he helped Israel significantly also speaks in his honor. He did it by convincing the communist regime of Czechoslovakia to send military equipment. Czechoslovakia was his country of origin, after all, so I can see why he reached out to them. He demonstrated solidarity with fellow Jews who had all suffered the same prosecution.
Originally, Jews in the Middle East did get support from the USSR, but that relationship soured. They probably did not submit to the kind of demands Stalin made. In any case, they parted ways. The leadership of Czechoslovakia probably did get into hot waters by breaking with Stalin's position on Israel. The independence of Czechoslovakian politicians ultimately led to the 1968 invasion by the Warsaw pact, so maybe this was an early sign of major disagreements within the communist bloc.
Unfortunately, Maxwell wrote sycophantic praise for Eastern European communist dictatorships, which is extremely disappointing, to say the least. Given that he had been fighting against National Socialist Germany, one would think that he had learned that Socialism was a bad idea, especially as he acted as a major capitalist entrepreneur for most of his life. In a total betrayal of what allowed him to succeed, a free society and a capitalist market, he became a Labour politician.
Based on his life's story, it's obvious that Maxwell was torn between strong beliefs and cynicism. It is hard to imagine someone experiencing the genocide of his own people while remaining mentally unaffected. The same is true for Soros. How exactly it affects someone depends on each individual, but I'm sure that it created many monsters. Just as pedophile crimes create pedophile predators. This pattern repeats all too often throughout the history of humanity.
Yes, he did work with several secret services, including MI6, the KGB and Mossad and he was suspected of being a double or triple agent - probably by all of them. They kept him under surveillance, as none of them trusted him.
The Maxwell Family
Surprisingly for someone so interested in the cause of Israel, Robert Maxwell married a Protestant woman, which means that his children are not considered to be Jewish.
Maxwell chose to re-create a large family, like the one he had grown up with and lost to the Holocaust. If he had been very religious, he would never have married a non-Jewish woman. We can conclude that religion was mostly irrelevant, to him, but family was very important, as he was the proud father of 7 children:

Remember: her father died in 1991. She started dating Epstein the year of her father's death and my guess is right after his death.

I don't think that it's a crazy idea to assume that Epstein was a father replacement figure for her - as she desperately needed someone to take her father's place after his death.
They never look like lovers, they look like a father with his little girl.
She doesn't kiss him passionately on the lips, she kisses him on the cheek:

This is a 100% consistent theme - it's a father-daughter relationship. And she was so desperate to maintain this relation that she provided Epstein with all the young girls he craved for sex, as she was afraid that otherwise he would grow tired of her. In her role as provider of underage girls, she had great value to him:
The Mossad agent conspiracy
Because of Robert Maxwell's connection with secret services, his support for Israel and connection with Mossad in particular, endless conspiracies flourished about Epstein also being a Mossad agent.
Except that there are gigantic holes in this story, so large the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan could navigate through them.
For starters, Mossad would never work with people such as Ghislaine and Epstein. They are a professional agency with very high standards. They want their agents to be competent and discrete.
Ghislaine obviously remained immature. The speed at which she found herself a replacement father shows that she could not handle life on her own. Maxwell and Epstein were hedonistic, volatile and apparently spent most of their time partying or hunting for girls they could exploit.
There's not a shred of evidence that either of them had received any kind of training and their behavior, their criminal deeds, would immediately have caused their termination, as this was the last thing any secret service would tolerate - just as drug cartels would kick out any distributor who started digging into his own supply.
Secret services do not sexually exploit underage girls. They often use sex to lure targets into compromising situations, but they use full consenting women who were trained to handle those situations. They can't have law suits about intelligence gathering operations because they used underage girls who didn't know what was going on.
Would they have moral qualms about using underage girls? Probably not, but I don't think for a second they would go down that road, as the risk/benefit ratio simply doesn't work in their favor. Having a carefully orchestrated operation compromised by involving an underage girl who might lead to the discovery of the operation or who might talk about it later on - which is exactly what happened - is just not conducive to keeping the required low profile.
It's very likely that Epstein did gather a lot of compromising material on certain rich and powerful individuals, but my best guess is that he used that material to extort money or lucrative deals and social contacts for his personal profit.
Victims accused Maxwell of being "a master manipulator", so was she a lot more sophisticated the spoiled brat she obviously was until her father's death?
Honestly, I see that mostly as a way for the victims to rationalize what happened to them. When you are a woman who grew up in wealth, surrounded by the rich and powerful, you are obviously going to impress young girls. Promise them nice things and they will feel totally safe and in good hands. How could this woman who meets all these "important" people be bad, right?
But when you see this picture, the image of Ghislaine the master manipulator crumbles: the master was Epstein, she was just one of his many tools...
Looking at Epstein's guest list, it is obvious that he was more interested in the "rich and famous", celebrities rather than political connections, with the exception of the Clintons, Roberts and Cuomo. Bloomberg was ex-mayor of NYC. Kissinger's political career was totally over.
What could Mossad possibly have wanted from these celebrities?
It basically all comes down to Bill & Hillary Clinton, the only ones with serious political clout. Assuming that he managed to obtain compromising material against them, this would have been reflected in a strongly pro-Israel policy.
Instead, Hillary took Huma Abedin as assistant - a Wahabi Muslim who grew up in Saudi Arabia and who hates Israel. Her mother is a co-founder of the Muslim Sisterhood. She promoted Islam and did everything she could to undermine Israel. Hillary, as secretary of State, supported Obama's pro-Islam policies as he brought the Muslim Brotherhood into his administration and got Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, installed as president of Egypt. Morsi wanted to destroy Israel and Obama sent him new military jets. About the last thing Mossad would have wanted to happen...
So to sum it up - Ghislaine or Epstein as Mossad agents? Give the Mossad more credit than that!
"Epstein lives" conspiracy
The official story that Epstein committed suicide is utter nonsense. There's way too much evidence that he was murdered, including his autopsy report, the cameras that just happened to be off and the prison guards who were in dereliction of their duty - and were just released without charges after Maxwell's guilty verdict, although they were prosecuted for felonies under the Trump administration.
Maxwell's condemnation without further investigation into her and Epstein's "clients" was all too convenient.
There's no question about it: Epstein was murdered in prison so he could not compromise his rich, famous and powerful "friends". No one wanted him alive anymore. The idea that he was somehow "smuggled out" is ridiculous. It's based on the assumption that his "clients" would have wanted him alive or that he still held any power.
As Bill Gates gleefully said, on TV: "Well he's dead now". Dead. Done. Buried. Let's never hear about him again.
Based on Ghislaine's profile, she is scared to death. She lost her substitute daddy. She doesn't know how to corrupt the justice system. No one wants her to talk, but they all know that she won't, so she's allowed to live. Life in prison must be very, very hard on her...

Jewish vs. Islamic lineage
In Jewish tradition, the Jewish identity passes through the mother, not the father - unlike in Islam, where children of a Muslim father are always considered to be Muslims, even if the children never met their father - which was quite a frequent occurrence, as many Muslim men died in the numerous battles of conquest Mohammed and his successors launched. Muslim women are prohibited from marrying non-Muslim men, but Muslim men may marry non-Muslim women and may keep slave women whose children will also be considered as Muslims.
These concepts of the family lineage show that Islam is an expansionist ideology which relies very heavily on demographic growth, while Judaism is all about preserving and protecting the Jewish culture and tradition. The identity of the mother is never questionable, but the identity of the father could not always be known, so Jews chose the "safe" demographic lineage, while Muslims try to avoid paternity problems by imposing extremelly severe punishments, even the death penalty, on "illegitimate" relationships.
