The Darkness Rising

Peace-loving citizens desire to live their lives in freedom and pursue the things that matter most to them.  We are put off by the thought of war between major powers because we remember the consequences that come with those kinds of conflicts.  And it is for this reason that so many Americans have turned a blind-eye to the darkness rising from the Middle-Kingdom (China).  We do not want to stand toe-to-toe with the darkness and confront its tyranny because we know the cost will be high and the world as we know it will be forever changed.  But the terrible reality is that the more we delay confronting this darkness, the higher the cost will be when we are forced to finally stand toe-to-toe and confront the tyranny of darkness in our time.

THE DARKNESS RISING

The darkness rising can be seen coming from China in a variety of ways:

- They're imposing a dystopian nightmare on their citizens (here)

- They weaponized the pandemic by blocking vital medical supplies (here)

- They're inflicting the macabre practice of organ harvesting on their people (here)

- They're engaging in unrestricted cyber-warfare against the West (here)

- They're proliferating aggressive propaganda against the U.S. globally (here; here)

- They're oppressing Christians and religious adherents with severe persecution and torture (here; here)

- They're practicing unrestricted economic warfare and colonization on a global scale (here; here)

These nightmarish glimpses into the Chinese darkness are the early warnings that immediate and robust action is necessary to stop this darkness before it engulfs the world and inflicts unimaginable suffering on humanity.

In my previous article, I made the case that we have become cowards because the West has ejected morality from its worldview and moral-fortitude is necessary to stand toe-to-toe with evil and confront the darkness rising in our time.  I hope I am wrong, but I wonder if we requisite courage necessary in this generation to take a stand against this darkness before it is too late.  Americans have been turning a blind-eye to the atrocities being committed in China because we were afraid that our iPhones might cost more; we might not be able to buy the next trendy gadget; and we might have to deny our immediate wants for the greater good!  China has taken full-advantage of our apathy, and they are capitalizing on every free-year we give them in order to systematically undermine American strength and stability.
