Liberalism means freedom of each person in all aspects, freedom to choice the way of life, economical freedom, freedom to conduct a business and enjoy the results of his work and risk taken. Society grow fastest with free market. But if 1% of people own 90% of welth, then there is no free market. It is monopoly. Socialistic Yugoslavia had socialism and free market. Workers were owners of companies, but companies competed each other. I like more private property. So I think that small shareholders should own big companies, and one person should be limited in ownership to small enterprise, according to EU categorisation. That would stop wild capitalism and introduce humanity in business. Sloboda pojedinca može biti ograničena samo istom takvom slobodom druge osobe, ali ja bih rekao i pravilom da se svoje slobode ne može odreči. Nitko nema pravo, niti dobrovoljno niti pod pritiskom, trajno se odreči svojih prava i svoje slobode. Ima puno stranaka u svijetu koje se nazivaju liberalnim i slobodarskim, a to zapravo nisu. Istaknutu primjeri su ruska Liberalno demokratska stranka Vladimira Žirinovskog ili austrijska Slobodarska stranka Jörga Heidera. Radi se o rasističkim strankama, koje nemaju nikakve veze s liberalizmom. Puno stranaka sebe definira kao liberalno-konzezvativne, a taj liberalizam se svodi na pravo tajkuna da slobodno koristi svoj položaj i postavlja nerazumne uvjete radnicima i društvu, koji osiguravaju njihovu trajnu ovisnost o istom tajkunu. To se ne razlikuje od prava feudalca da slobodno propisuje uvjete svojim kmetovima ili robovlasnika da odlučuje o životu svojih robova. I neke naše stranke pokušavaju liberalizam objasniti kao slobodu dvije strane da međusobno sklapaju ugovore kakve god žele. I to je pogrešno. Svi ugovori koji predstavljaju izrabljivanje slabijih, ljudi u nuždi ili neukih od strane jačih, moraju se smatrati ništavnim. Preduvjet da svaki pojedinac svoje odnose s drugim stranama slobodno uređuje je da mu je osiguran socijalni minimum. Da je siguran da nikada neće biti gladan, da mu je osiguran nužan smještaj i odjeća, pristup zdravstvenim uslugama i pristup informacijama. Tek tada je on sposoban svoje odnose uređivati slobodnom voljom, a ne pod pritiskom. Samo društvo jednakih šansi može se smatrati liberalnim društvom. Konkurencija na tržištu potiče ljude na rad, učenje i inovacije. Onog trenutka kada šanse prestanu biti jednake za sve, tada se tržište pretvorilo u monopol. Tada ljudi gube interes i društvo počinje propadati. Nisam socijaldemokrat jer ne mogu prihvatiti pravilo da imućniji članovi društva neke usluge trebaju plaćati skuplje, a siromašniji jeftinije. Bogatstvo treba biti rezultat rada, znanja i preuzimanja rizika. Ako su pojedinci zbog svog truda i uspjeha kažnjeni, onda se trud ne isplati. Takvo društvo je nepravedno. Drugi je problem što je danas bogatstvo uglavnom rezultat korupcije. I zato treba suzbijati korupciju, a ne kažnjavati marljive ljude.
