Lailatul Qadar The Blessed Night

A very important night in the month of Ramadan is the night of Lailatul Qadar, the night began to be revealed by the Qur'an by Allah, namely the decrease of revelation through the angel Gabriel to the prophet Muhammad. Muslims believe that on the eve of commemorating the great event, the universe will feel the influence of lailatul qadar events. The night of the lailatul qadar is the most important night of Ramadan, God will bestow great gifts to whomever wishes that night, those who are not sleeping and prefer the worship or other godly deeds.

There is no one who can confirm the certainty of the night of the qadar, but according to the nightly narratives of the qadar only on the odd nights after the 20th night of Ramadan, so the qadar will happen at night 21, 23, 25, 27 or night 29. In the last nights the Muslims are commanded to multiply the worship, so that the privileges of the night lailatul qadar become a mercy and can be felt its presence. Among those bizarre evenings, most Muslims believe that the night of qadar will happen on the 21st or 27th night.

Still according to the history, on the night of the lailatul qadar, the trees will bow down towards the Qiblah (mecca), as a respect for that night. The Acehnese Muslims strongly believe in the event, though the prostration of the prostrate is so rare for human beings to witness. In fact, Aceh youth often went around the village on the night of the 27th, the goal to find the trees are prostrate. Even the deed is often termed in the Acehnese language " tajak mita kayèë sujud".
