Incels to MGTOW: The 5 Stages of Grief (Acceptance)

In the original model of the 5 Stages of Grief, the final stage is 'Acceptance', which is marked by an acknowledgement that the terminally ill patient's end is coming and there is nothing left but to accept it.  When we see people die gracefully, passing on the wisdom of their lives, this is the sign that they have truly moved into the final stage of grief.  As one would expect, not everyone reaches this phase.

This can be said for the general public when speaking of Incels.  At the moment, I do not believe that many people in the general public are willing to truly accept the reality of the Incels and that the changes in traditional marriage and the sexual liberation have disadvantaged men and left many of them alone with few prospects for improvement.  We still live in a gynocentric society which puts the needs and concerns of women above men, so things that disadvantage men simply can't be accepted, let alone recognized.

However, it is my hope that many Incels will move into this final stage.  I believe that for them, the MGTOW movement, men going their own way, is the best way to express this stage of Acceptance.  After spending time in the introspective stage of Depression, the Incel changes his perspective on women, sex, dating, and marriage, and sees that all of them are more trouble than they are worth.  The Incel is able to truly see the difficulties that many of the 'Chads', men who have sexual success, face when dealing with women, relationships, and sex.  If the Incel is able to move out of depression and take an honest look at the lives of these 'Chads', then he will see that many of them are unhappy, burdened with responsibilities, financially troubled, infected with STDs, and using some unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with it all.  It is then that the Incel will see that what he was considering a horrible curse was really just dodging a bullet.  Then, he will decide to forgo devoting any more energy towards women and then truly accept the MGTOW life.

Once this acceptance is reached, the Incel can no longer be called an 'Incel' as he is no longer 'involuntarily celibate'.  He is now a MGTOW and can devote his energy towards improving his life, following his passions, and working for his own needs, all while being free from the burdens of women, relationships, and family.  Though some may call him selfish for refusing to give into what women want, he will remember a life of rejection and know that any women who approach him in the future only want what he can give them.  He can then join the ranks of great men who never married such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Henry David Thoreau, Wilbur and Orville Wright, Nikola Tesla, and Isaac Newton.

Once this stage of Acceptance has been reached, he will then achieve a level of contentment, independence, and self-esteem that he did not believe was possible.
