CyberPower CST135XLU Battery Backup with Surge Protection

I decided to try CyberPower for battery backup and surge protection since it was cheaper than APC and available at my local Costco (I'm boycotting Office Depot for their anti-2nd Ammendment stance.) I bought 2 @ $100 each for the 2 Netgear Orbi satellites I purchased about 2 months ago.

The first thing I noticed was that I didn't have to connect the battery. Instead, the device has to be plugged in and charged for 8 hours before it can be used. I checked after 4 hours and the battery was fully charged.

The device comes with 5 outlets on battery and surge protection with an additional 5 outlets with surge protection only. The outlets are located in back along with phone/network, coax, USB, and serial connections.

In front, the device has the master switch and LCD display switch. And it also has 2 USB ports which can be used to charge an iPad! The annoying sound can be turned off using the LCD display in function mode. The display is turned off after a while by default.

The device is rated at 1350va and 810 watts, quite a bit more than what I need. I really like the AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) and that the device has a 3 year product warranty and $500,000 connected equipment guarantee. That and the fact that I purchased them from Costco offers me more peace of mind than I need.

So far, I'm pleased with my purchase. If that changes, I'll let everyone here know.
