Oh yes! It that time of year again where everyone will take to the streets this upcoming May. It's suppose to celebrate the labor movement and workers but you're probably thinking "Why does this celebration attracts radicals?" Well it most likely has everything to do with why we have 8 hour work days. The Haymarket Affairs or the Haymarket riots was the aftermath of a bombing that took place May 4th 1886 at a labor demstration where people were demanding 8 hour work days, after police the day before killed innocent workers who refused to work and strike instead. It began as a peaceful demostration until an unnamed person threw a stick of dynamite at police who were attemtping to disperse the strikers. So the Anarchist eventually had a shoot out with police that left 7 police dead. The labor demonstration didn't get 8 hour work days until 30 years after this incident but may 4th is when Anarchist and police in Chicago had a massive shoot out for 8 hour work days. This is why we celebrate may 4th for those willing to lay their live's on the line for equality in the work place not because we believe in breeding Antifa super soldiers funded by George Soros to attack everyone on the right.
