Legends of Political Pandering

Not only were they not satisfied with the constant Trump bashing last year, they now had to take about 50 shots within one episode. Episode 17 of season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow, titled "Guest Starring, John Noble" takes place in 1979 and 1992.

In 1979 the team of teeny-boppers save Barack Obama from being killed by Grodd. Grodd says "Make America Grodd Again" just as he is about to kill Obama. He is stopped soon after by the pathetic excuses for human beings. They insist that Obama should go by Barack rather than Barry to which he responds "That's what it says on my birth certificate"

In 1992, Amaya is trying to save her village from being destroyed. Three guesses who the bad warlords are that threaten a magical thriving black village... could it be white men?

Dhark comes to ask the "legends" to help him defeat Mallus, and Sara refuses. Sara goes to "talk to someone who can think straight when the whole world has gone crazy"...believe it or not, she means Obama. 

Of course, what would be an episode where we don't get some gay lesbian relationship reminder bullshit?

They then go to 1997 on the set of Lord of the Rings and talk John Noble into reading some stupid lines to convince Nora that Mallus is telling her what to do. Isn't the fucking time ship from like the 23rd century or something? Could you not use vocal analysis and build up an artificially created voice synthesizer?

Amaya tries to convince her daughter to become a totem bearer and save her village. Wally West is the only voice of reason that sees the big picture and the dangers of fucking around with time.

They trap Nora (because "Sara knows what she's doing" - Rip Hunter) and we find out that Ava is the 12th clone to be recruited in the Time Bureau. They decide to use the totems to release Mallus so they can defeat him once and for all. All are on boards with the plan except Ava who bitches off only to be briefly stopped by Sara's lesbian action before going back to the bureau.

The 'legends' free Mallus, Zambesi lives and history is fucked, yet again.

The only thing legendary about Legends of Tomorrow is the massive scale of their fuckups. But then again, what can we expect from politically correct snowflakes?
