Is Comedy Dead?

Even as far back as 2015, many famous comedians admitted they no longer played colleges because of the tendency of the snowflakes there to get offended at virtually anything - Clip below from Inside Edition:

Things are actually worse now, with many comedians still avoiding colleges. And since the election of Trump, main stream late night talk shows are all about Trump bashing. Kimmel, Colbert, Seth Meyers and even Conan O'brien and Jimmy Fallon have all signed on as co-conductors on the Trump bashing train. They have become one trick ponies playing one note tunes.

Even Bill Maher, a 'liberal' who claims to be non-PC, is constantly touting the discredited Trump-Russia collusion delusion. Here he is with the clinically insane Keith Olbermann, from an HBO clip:

So there you have it folks. If you are a comedian who is classically liberal, or conservative, or a Trump supporter, you won't get near a college campus or a late night TV show.

There is hope on the horizon though, with the very successful relaunch of Roseanne. Let's hope there is more like her coming! Below is a clip from her new show:

Comedy has a long and proud heritage. Its forbears were the court jesters of the Royal Courts. They were paid outsiders in the arts community who could speak truth to power through song, riddles and jests. They were favored by kings and queens because they were trusted to speak the truth about how the people felt about the court.

Today the SJW campus snowflakes can't bear to hear facts and truth. It hurts them. And the late night comedians are merely cck holsters for their corporate and deep state overlords. They are corporate cck suckers, to paraphrase Colbert.

But, thank you Roseanne, things are changing, let's hope for better comedy days ahead.
