Amarillo Matters to be Added to Federal Lawsuit

According to information obtained by Amarillo Exposed from an inside source, Amarillo Matters is to be added as a party to the Federal lawsuit against the City of Amarillo.

The information comes after Amarillo Matters issued a press release condemning "disruptive" individuals at last night's City Council meeting.  Homeless advocate Kip Billups was arrested for unauthorized clapping, during the incident.

By siding with the City and City officials, including the authoritarian actions of Mayor Ginger Nelson, in the debate between the City and the supporters of the homeless community, Amarillo Matters has apparently inadvertently put the secretive group into legal jeopardy.

The latest information on the lawsuit comes as the plaintiff prepares to file  an extensive Amended and and Supplemental Complaint as allowed under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
