When we say we are killing the planet. What are we referring to? Changing the climate? Accelerating adaptation? I thought we are a part of life…? This line of thinking stems from the Earthquake I felt not long ago, sitting on top of one of the largest caldera volcanoes on this rotating rock in space. Montana also has some of the largest nuke’s in the world. Which has the potential to cause more loss to life? Nukes are but popped pimples in comparison. 650,000 years ago Yellowstone blew up and produced 2,500 times as much ash as the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption and is long due for another chance to show life who was here first.
If this rock could talk, would it conclude its been infected with life? Once a pristine molten landscape free of carbon polluting biology...
Life seems on a frantic trajectory to get off this rock as quickly as possible. Life preserves life, even at the cost of other life. Yes, we may be in the middle of the 6th great mass extinction of “Species”, but far from Life. Life has used monkeys with thumbs to launch Tesla’s in space. Landed robots on other rotating rocks, bringing life with it. Monkeys without full understanding, or awareness, are preforming Panspermia. We are helping Life seed the stars. To get life off this rock hell bent on inoculating itself from this infection of biology.
