I brought my daughter Clara to the pediatrician today, her ear is still sore. She has a throat infection that has reached her ear. We are now together at home. She wants me to play with her and I want to play with my computer... What do we do? I would like to be writing my deepest thoughts today, but my daughter is moving around me like a cozy cat in the house... She comes dressed as a doctor and asks me to get ready for her medical inspection... I try to explain that I am "working" and so on... I tell her that my "work" is my play time too because I love to write about my inner findings and experiences.
A few minutes ago I was helping her prepare a picnic she ate on a bath carpet on our balcony. Now she is by my side looking at some family pictures and showing some of them to me. She wants my attention... And I totally understand it... She was supposed to be in the kindergarten playing with other kids and now she is stuck with a busy-doing-her-own-things mommy in the house...
Ok, guys! I'm out. I've got some grown-up stuff going on here and I can't play for too long in Minds today! I'm going to be building a multicolored castle—while breastfeeding Iris—in a few minutes... Only cool stuff, though... See you tomorrow!
