I arrived in Amarillo in 2003. I never knew a town could be so corrupt. As a Federally trained bank regulator and investigator, I was not only struck by the pervasive corruption, but the openness with which people spoke about it. I was repeatedly warned to stay away from the power crowd. Unfortunately, I kept bumping into them. And I paid a steep price.
In addition to a number of news stories I have in the works (some will require a lot of time to fully explore and explain) I will be sharing my personal experiences.
For months I have been trying to decide where to begin. There is so much to share. And then a beginning point presented itself....the runoff between Steven Denny and Pamela Sirmon.
This beginning point is not the beginning of the story, it is just the most currently relevant. This is a VERY long story that is still developing. It involves some well-known individuals. It involves politicians, business-people and various levels of law enforcement.
The first segment will include some audio and pictures. As soon as I figure out how to post them, I will post the first segment of The Saga.
