So, late on last month, on the 24th,  I planted my peas indoors.
Over the past 2 weeks, today being the 10th, my peas are nearly all showing!

Pea sprouts in the tray

Now, as you can see there are three cels without any growth in... That means 3 out of 15 didn't germinate. 20%! That is a HUGE number to have fail in a new packet. I knew that you should expect some kind of fail rate... But I really didn't expect it to be that high!
Anyway, I still have more that I need, so I'm not going to worry too much.

Following on from that...

Leek seedlings

As you can see the leeks are only just starting to sprout. They are still tiny, but you can see them! Not all the cels are showing signs yet, but it's still early days. These only got planted on the 28th, so I shouldn't be expecting much at this stage.

Next planting will be tomatoes and then spring onions, potatoes and parsnips.
However, the potatoes and parsnips will all have to be planted outside, in situ... So they will be towards the end of the month. maybe early April, depending on the weather.

Tomato seeds

These 4 all came from the front of a magazine my mum sent to me.
I will do only about 3 of each as I don't want to flood my garden with tomato plants!

The tomatoes I will start next week. At this rate I'm going to run out of windowsill space!
