WHO'S "MONITORING" -- THAT IS, SPYING ON -- YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT?

[Although I've been on Minds since 2015, and there free of spying, censorship, and selling of personal information,  I'm also still on Facebook, vulnerable, because so many of my friends are there, increasing numbers trying to make the jump out, as a cadre of us help them do it. This excerpt is from "Facebook Secrets" on Distract The  MediaI tried to post it on Facebook's Notes platform but Notes became inoperative. Notes does that when I'm trying to write about Facebook and other global corporations, especially about global corporate surveillance or global corporate control of U.S. government. You'd almost think that there's an algorithm or two guarding against anyone's blogging on those topics on Facebook. Nawww, that couldn't be. Right? Anyway, I fell back on Minds to post this....]

"Here is what you need to do to block the majority of the accounts that monitor you on Facebook:

"1. > Log into Facebook

"2. > Account Settings

"3. > Click on blocking

"4. > In the search field where it says “Block Users” type in: “Facebook Security”

"5. > A new window will pop up. The list you see is a list of [most likely] Facebook employees, spies, and private accounts that are paid to shill for who knows who (sarcasm (kind of)). We tried to block some of the accounts, however, apparently some people cannot be blocked. Makes you think….

"6. > You can see a couple of accounts that are [marked as] FB Secruity.
Go down the [whole] list, and if you don’t like being monitored, just hit the 'block button.' Some of the accounts are unable to be blocked. While this is somewhat disturbing, you must remember that Facebook owns everything Facebook, so in essence, you “agreed” to be monitored. (I know. What moral and reasonable organization needs to hire people to monitor you? Right?)

"And there you have it. The ever growing world police and nanny state extends to the virtual world too. In fact, it probably lives in the virtual world in an even greater capacity than the physical world, it’s just that the physical world gives us a different feeling and emotional reaction when we recognize it. Have fun, and enjoy your new found freedom!"

Note: Actually you won't be free of censorship, spying and sale until you move to Minds or MeWe. Even then your Facebook account will never be closed -- Facebook keeps all your information, all your posts and messages. If you "disable" your Facebook account, your access to it will simply be disabled, not Facebook's.

So think of Facebook as a permanent archive of your conversations and posts back when you were digitally naive. Don't disable it.  Just quit feeding Facebook intimate information about you and your friends and family for Zuck to sell to other global corporations....

Pick up and leave.
