There are people that have the perception that I'm bashing or being condescending towards sheriffs; men and women who are presently harming the people by enforcing laws that attack their Natural Rights instead of securing them. If you go through my blog chronologically, you will see I tried the nice approach; addressing the oath of office and the duties and responsibility that entails. Trying to get sheriffs, police, and military to examine their actions and re-evaluate them through the prism of their oath. Other than bashing me and calling me names, I got not ONE reasoned response to my words.
I’ve made no bones regarding my distrust and suspicion of police and sheriffs. My experiences on the road as a runaway helped set me on the course I’m on. A mission to inform and educate the People as to the principles of this republic and what their duty is regarding the tyranny that is destroying this land. When sheriffs side with the tyrants and enforce usurpation and plunder against the People, I don’t believe I owe them anything but contempt and scorn. I will continue to urge the People to replace such tyrants by any means they deem necessary, as an exercise of their Natural Right of self-defense! When an office of honor and trust is occupied by someone devoid of honor and not deserving of trust, they must be removed by the People to prevent the harm they bring to themselves and their posterity.
The People have suffered great loss at the hands of the oligarchy’s agents calling themselves sheriffs. Most sheriffs believe they must enforce everything the legislature passes as law, without regarding the Natural Rights of the People in their county; they’ve become rubber stamps and enforcers of criminal laws and have served to raise the level of fear people have for the officers of government.
When I see a sheriff that respects the rights of the People he should be serving instead of harassing, I will give them their due and show respect; until then I have nothing but contempt for those control freaks that serve their masters, not the People.
I do not see many people today in law enforcement that could shine the shoes of men such as Patrick Henry, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and many other men of character in our founding era. I'm not saying none of them deserve respect, just the preponderance of them today.
Yes, I understand they've been indoctrinated and brainwashed... but that doesn't excuse what they do to the People and the aid they give to the People's oppressors; only explains the external forces that gave them justification in their minds to do it. I have seen too much loss and suffering by too many people in my life to show respect and deference where it isn't due.
Last year I got to experience the coercive unlawful force of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, in California, as they provided an armed escort for trespassers on the land I was on; being outnumbered and outgunned, the two of us on the property were forced to capitulate or face certain death by a heavily armed SWAT team led by a sergeant that only needed a notice on his computer, not a warrant or court order to justify his actions.
When I praise a sheriff today, it will mean something; that I find that sheriff to be honorable and faithful to his duty and deserving of our respect and support. Until I see those attributes consistently in a sheriff, in their deeds and not just their rhetoric, I will not show respect. It takes more than winning an election and wearing a badge of authority to be a faithful servant of the People; under Natural Law, which is the foundation of American law, a sheriff's only duty is to secure the Natural Rights of the People in the county... period; this duty is consistent with the oath to support and defend the Constitution, since the lawful Constitution conveys the same duty.
