This article is specifically about the cannabis' seed, and not the plant. It's a simple breakdown of everything that makes up a regular seed, together with a brief reflection upon the presented data.

Should you wish to just get the juicy info and leave, it's all about the nutritional properties and benefits to one's health that can be obtained from the seed. Hemp oil is the perfect nutritional supplement, by containing ALL the essential amino and fatty acids.

Now, to the ones who want to go with raw numbers and extended reflections.

What is in the seed?

- 25% to 25% of Hemp Oil;
- 20% to 25% of proteins;
- 20% to 30% of carbohydrates;
- 10% to 15% of fiber;

- Trace Minerals;

What is in the Oil?

- Omega-3 (linoleic acid, LA and PUFA) and Omega-6 (a-linoleic acid, LNA), in a 3 to 1 ratio which is considered to be the most beneficial for nutrition;
- Cannabidiol (found by contamination by pressing the oil but not directly produced within the seed);

So for starters, we can say straight away the seed is a complete complement or supplement to nutrition. But the really interesting numbers are in the Oil composition, which contains all of the essential amino acids a human body requires.

The CBN (Cannabidiol) is since 1973 a documented substance with anticonvulsive, anti-epileptic and antimicrobial properties.

The Omegas in the oil are also documented to help increase metabolic rates and on the burning of fat, as well as anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombonic properties.
