Splatterhouse 3D is a Doom mod that is being developed by Mike MacDee (aka Impie) that converts id Software's FPS into a 3D version of the iconic 1988's beat 'em up, Splatterhouse.
It is, in fact, an unfinished GZDoom remake of his old Splatterhouse 3D games, which he released some years ago and we already presented here, at Gaming Room. It not only brings monsters, graphics, sounds and other elements from the original game, but features a good ammount of difficulty added to a sinister and macabre atmosphere. There are also the maps, of course.
The mod ran here with GZDoom 2.3 and with Doom 2, Final Doom and Freedoom's phase 2 IWADs. On Ultimate Doom and Freedoom's phase 1, the mod's custom maps got missing.
