Is It Worth Making Anti-SJW Content Anymore?

So, I've been speaking with a huge amount of other content creators recently about the situation with the mass demonetisation of videos on YouTube, and the question has come up every time, as to whether it's going to be worth it to make the kind of content that we make anymore - i.e. anti-SJW content. Not just because of the loss of money for content creators who were relying on this genre for income, but also because the genre itself seems to be getting incredibly repetitive. All the talking points seem to have been mentioned - the wage gap being an earnings gap, preferences being personal and not based on bigotry, feminism being hypocritical in regards to its treatment of men etc.

Now, I was going to make a video about this topic, but I didn't really know how to approach the video - plus, I've been sick and I think I might have coughed up a lung, to be honest. Firstly, I need to say that I do think that the genre that we do is getting incredibly repetitive and stale; even making videos, where I debunk feminist talking points are becoming repetitive to make. I feel like every new video is just a re-hash of the last one, but just about different topics and regarding different people. But, all in all, it's the same stuff over and over again. Now, I don't mind continuing making the content - I love talking about my opinons openly, since I'm not able to do so in real life, so if I repet myself, it's alright - I just think that there needs to be some kind of change in regards to what I, personally, make. I just feel as though I've said all that I can say and need to just talk about something else and I know other content creators who feel the same way. We're probably going to see bigger YouTubers who make anti-SJW content, moving their videos in a more advertiser-friendly direction - i.e. making movie reviews or giving opinions of subjects other then political ones, which honestly, I would like to see. It would give a variety to the genre.

The issue is, are the viewers going to watch us after that? It's evident to me that people still want to watch us talk about feminism and SJWs and debunk their talking points, since the second that the Commentary Community began speaking about feminism and BuzzFeed, they all grew in subscribers and views. People still want this content, so if we decide to switch it up, will people watch it? Keeping the viewers happy is something that is important when you make videos and I try to do it as much as I can, now that I'm back on YouTube, but I don't know if people will stick around if we try and make our channels expand a tad. The thing is, because of this advertiser nonsense, we may have to change up our content if we want to keep making money on YouTube.

My opinion on this whole matter is pretty simple. Whether this kind of content is worth making now or not, is completely dependent on the person/ YouTuber.

Honestly, I'm a content creator that is happy to make money off of the product that I create, but I mainly do it to rant about things and get them off my chest. Making money isn't the most important thing to me in reards to making videos at all; if I lose money doing this, then I'm okay with that, as long as people are able to watch my content who would like to.  When I came back to YouTube, and I looked at how the Guest Videos that I left up were doing, I noticed that some of them have been permanently demonetised; at first, I was annoyedd because I wasn't given an explanation, but then when I realised that this had been happening to everyone, I breathed and started to not really care. I can live with what's happening and not be too bothered about it.

But, then again, I know people who make a genuine living off of making videos and who would need to find a solution to the mass demonetisation of their videos in order to live. Some peopledo this genre to make money, so for them, this is more important then to someone like me.

If you're a content creator and you want to do this to make money, then maybe finding another genre of videos to make would be the best idea. Our genre has been hit very hard by the demonetisation issue, probably more then anyone on YouTube, except the MGTOW community, from what I've seen; if you want to keep making YouTube videos and money, then finding a more advertiser-friendly video type may be the best answer. On the other hand, if you're making content to fight in the culture war and debunk the feminist, radical leftist argument, then I don't think you should quit, whether the arguments are being repeted or not. If you want to fight for what you beleive in, then do it. Don't stop just because you may not be able to make money off the cause or because the arguments have been heard before.

As for me, I'm just going to make whatever I feel like making. My focus will be anti-SJW stuff because I like ranting about it, but that's just me. I really hope this isn't YouTube destroying itself from the inside and beginning to fall apart, but I'm losing hope for the site. People want to migrate to somewhere else, maybe even hereon Minds, and I don't blame them.

Thanks for reading all this. Love ya!
