"Americana Forgotten"

I'm not sure how things are on this new social media platform, but I'm hoping to share this as far as I can. I would really like to sit down a bit later and navigate through and really learn this platform, and begin networking with people, and I don't mean to be "that guy" who does this as soon as he joins a social networking site, but I guess I am going to end up being that guy...only temporarily though - because as I said, I would really like to learn the communites of those here. I would really love to reach out to lovers of the art/photography world here, in hopes to share this project.

Basically, I'm trying to share my project for a book I have finished called "Americana Forgotten." The book is a compilation of photographs I have taken over the course of the last 10 years, all relating to abandoned Americana artifacts all across the United States. I have started a Kickstarter in hopes to reach a funding goal to be able to print, distribute and reach out to local book stores, as well as many others across the country, perhaps even in your town. Every backer of the Kickstarter, even of just 1 dollar of course receive something, even if it is just a download for the e-book. But at 25 or more, I will personally sign and ship out a copy of the book to you. This allows backers to grab the book at 5 dollars off the $30 price goal I am aiming for, as long as the funding is reached for printing of the books. Remember, since it is Kickstarter, if this goal is not reached, your pledge will go right back to you. I work full time as a photographer/photojournalist, and between everything else in life, it's quite difficult to raise this much in spare spending funds for printing, which is why I have reached out on a platform such as Kickstarter.

Please take a look through - I do have samples of a soft cover finished product, but I want to go for hard cover on this next print. It's something I have worked incredibly hard on day after day, so I'm not going to beat myself up over trying to share it on the Internet - sure some might not see the project for what it is, but so far 30 others have. This is my art, and something I am proud of finally bringing to completion. I now just need the help of a community, even if that means simply sharing the project. Thank you for your time in looking!
