These companies allow their employees to use marijuana at work

Throughout states that have legalized recreational marijuana, companies are opening their doors to it and even, in some cases, encouraging employees to use it.

Denver's Flowhub, for instance, is a software company that was founded last year.  Since smoking's not allowed in the building they allow employees to use edibles, sodas and juices that are infused with cannabis.

Co-founders Kyle Sherman and Chase Wiseman are more focused on getting things done than what their employees are eating.  "If it [marijuana use] helps our employees get work done, then we don't care if they consume at work," said Sherman

He goes on to explain that using pot for brainstorming meetings "surfaces new ideas and a fresh take on things.

"Our clients are some of the biggest firms in the cannabis industry," he says. "We have to be on point with our work. We've never had a problem yet."

Two other companies that are letting their employees use pot at work are High There! and MassRoots, both social media sites for stoners.

MassRoots, for instance, refers to itself as a "Facebook for pot users." Cofounder Isaac Dietrich is very at home with the policy, as he was high when he came up with the idea for the company.

With studies appearing that show pot does not dumb you down or hurt your body, it is refreshing to see companies embracing the value.
