I've been pondering a way to make a change in the world around us & to decrease our need of giant corporations. With this train of thought in mind, I've found that an idea keeps coming to mind so I wish to share it with all of you.

The creation of community gardens & the rising poularity of Farmers Markets, coupled with the ability to crowdfund & the ability to create a tax exempt status through a charity may give us the tools we need to make this a reality. Now before I begin, i want to make clear that I am not well versed in the legalities nor the accounting fields of which may have a part in the overall creation obviously. But if the idea were not given the oppotunity to be heard, then there would be no way of knowing it's potential. I come to you, bright minds & noble hearts for assistance with this idea. An idea that I must give thanks to @TracyArthurKing & @kdjh for initiating with their posts. Ok, now if there were a way to create a fund which would provide the Start-Up assitance needed to purchase & create natural, organic community farms across  the lands. Who's primary objective would be to create the produce needed to keep those families who need the assitance keeping their loved ones fed & well nourished. Food would be of no cost to the families of the community, instead there would be a point system of charge so to speak. One would tally up the total value of the goods & in payment, those purchasing would pay with time spent volunteering at the same farm & market, giving a steady flow of workers to keep the whole system flowing. Those purchasing from the market who are not from the community would pay for their goods at a cheaper rate than elsewhere because their would be minimal overhead to take into account for, given the way people who are working within the community to keep the place going would allow for steady help in keeping the place up to pace. Payments could be considered donations, so to speak & therefore I believe exempt from taxation. Then the revenue being accumulated would go into the purchasing of supplies, with the rest going back into the community for further projects if were so possible. In this manner we cold help feed those in need & help reduce the "need" of some families to go feed their children off the dollar menu at some fast "food" for loss of a better word place & throw a blow at the biotech giants also. Now all the oversite for anything being spent or made would be open to everyone involved & everyone gets a say at what is accomplished. Every decision, in the hands of every person involved (say by a member voting,  cast electronically & accounted for? Something like, everyone receives the proposals & all would have their say in the matter. I know this is slightly vague but I find it difficult to put this image into words, I'm hoping that we could figure something out together. Even if just a functional proposal which could inspire others. Either way, we are bringing together a collective to try & find solutions for our Families, Friends, Loved ones & all other people living here with us on this giant blue marble, floating through space, surrounded by infinite mystery.
