Watch this intelligent orangutan fashion herself a hammock from a sheet

Nemo is a clever 14-year-old orangutan living in a zoo in Thailand.  Deciding that her sleeping quarters were sub-par, she took matters into her own hands and zoo employees were there to catch it all on video.

Nemo grabs a blanket and begins to tie it to the top bars of her cage.  Once taught, she spreads it open and hops in to take a nap.

If you have ever questioned the intelligence of orangutans and other primates, this will surely change your mind.  There are plenty of humans out there who don't even have the intellectual wherewithal to tie a proper knot, let alone fashion a fully functional hammock out of a piece of cloth.
