Here's to 2022.

I've been putting this off all day. What a crazy year it's been, right?.

I entered 2021 recovering from Hip Surgery and changing my career into my dream job. It was really stressful. I'd just lost all of my real-life friends as well and honestly, was in a pretty dark place.

I kept myself distracted with the #loinstream , which is now my digital family, and through @kirkpattiecake 's LMIAY challenges I was able to build my confidence in writing back.

Then, in October I lost everything. No job, no future. I was terrified and panicked. But, I've spoken enough about that topic.

Because of this, I was able to push myself more. I released a kick-ass chapter for my novel "An Oath of Stone" which was incredibly well received and I pushed hard to get my comic book "Crane Citys Gargoyle" off the ground too.

It took me about 8 months to lock down an artist for Crane City's Gargoyle, I trialed many people. Some were great artists but not right for this project, others were just out of my price range... which eventually became $0 as to this day I'm still just barely keeping a roof above my head.

However, I was genuinely blessed when @Usagitenshi believed in me enough and really stuck her neck out for me. I believe we work really well together and, every single day I count my blessings.

So, what are my plans for 2022?.

Well, first off. Crane City's Gargoyle needs to launch.
I know I haven't shown you all much but we are making good progress on that. Please keep in mind It's just myself and Usagi, and neither of us has done this before so we're figuring it all out as we go.

Crane Citys Gargoyle Teaser

That's a little teaser of what to expect. Crane Citys Gargoyle will be free to read on www.arkhaven.com upon release. I am still investigating funding methods so that I can get Usagi the money she deserves for her hard work.

So please, keep an eye out for that. Your support means the world to me.

I've also been working on a Secret Project, which I will hopefully announce once Crane Citys Gargoyle is released, I'm very excited about that project.

As for my novels, I'd love to get An Oath of Stone out there in 2022. I'll admit, I haven't given it the attention it deserves, as I've been 110% in on Crane Citys Gargoyle. So, let's make that a goal as well.

Once I finish scripting the secret project, and Crane Citys Gargoyle is flowing along I'll turn my attention back to that novel.

Let's talk about the Youtube Channel too.

Out of panic and desperation, I launched my youtube channel, far, far earlier and less prepared than I wanted to be, and to my surprise, we are currently sitting on 133 subscribers, which I still don't believe, so firstly - I want to say Thank you. To every single person who supports me, to every 133 of you subscribed. To the people who Like, Comment, and Share.

You give me much-needed hope.

In 2022 you'll continue to hear my crazy opinions and I will continue to introduce you all to the world of comics. I plan on learning better editing skills and creating better quality content. Possibly more "Animated" content, if you will.

I also want to introduce myself a little bit more, my love for music, and other mediums. In fact, I planned on releasing a song for Christmas day but truthfully - my anxiety and self-doubt stopped me. So, let's make that a 2022 resolution, to overcome my fear of performing in public.

So I hope that you continue to support me there, as we go on this journey of growth together.

And last but not least:
I would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.
