Simping for Russia and Vladimir Putin: The Stupidity of the American Right - DetroitOtaku Rants

"The Democratic Party is traditionally closer to...social democratic ideas. And it was from the social democratic environment that the Communist Party evolved. After all, I was a member of the Soviet Communist Party for nearly 20 years. I was a rank-and-file member, but it can be said that I believed in the party's ideas. I still like many of these left-wing values. Equality and fraternity. What is bad about them? In fact, they are akin to Christian values." - Vladimir Putin

Ah, yes. I'm sure I'll strike a nerve with some people over this article.

Ever since the 2016 elections, neocons, paleocons, and other Conservatives seem to be unable to resist the blatantly obvious mirage of Vladimir Putin's "conservatism."

On many different conservative forums in the past, I've called attention to his true political record and warned everyone of his true intentions, and yet nobody seems to accept it, or they supposedly don't care. And it seems that every day on the American right, someone new is simping for Vladimir Putin and Russia.

Some of the most notable conservatives and rightists that have simped for Putin and Russia include Paul Joseph Watson, Pat Buchanan, Paul Gottfried, Michael Savage, Nick Fuentes, Vince Dao, Walid Shoebat, and his son Theodore Shoebat, as well as Red Eagle Politics. And I have no issue with most of these folks. Well...except for Fuentes and the Shoebats. Those guys are malicious and disingenuous.

Their argument for why Russia or Putin is conservative? "Well, he may not be a Republican like us, but he supports traditional conservative values like Christianity, the family and he supports preserving Russian traditions!" Yeah, about that. Did you know that preaching the gospel outside of a church can get you thrown in jail? Yeah, it was the supposedly "Christian" Vladimir Putin who signed it into law and it has been called the "most restrictive measures [against religious freedom] in post-Soviet history." They also claim that he's tough on Islam, but this is anything but true. And no, I'm not talking about Chechnya. Because it's not just Chechnya. Ever since Putin became Russia's President in 1999, over 7500 mosques, or ONE MOSQUE PER DAY have been constructed in Russia. Russia has the largest Muslim population in all of Europe, and Moscow has the largest Muslim population of any European city (with over 2 million Muslims, making up over 20% of Moscow's population), beating out places like Paris, London, and Marseilles. This would make Russia more than twice as Islamized as Sweden and France, and those two countries are made fun of for their cucking to Islam! Putin also believes that there is more in common between Orthodox Christianity and Islam than there is between Orthodox Christianity and Roman Catholicism

So much for "muh based Christian Russia", eh?

"B-But DetroitOtaku, surely you're exaggerating things, right? I'm sure Russia is a wonderful country to visit and the people there are all based Christians who live healthy lives...right?"

Wrong. In terms of life expectancy ratings in the world, Russia ranks 153rd with an average life expectancy of 70.47 years. But even that is misleading as it is inflated by Moscow and St. Petersburg. Russia also has a major gender imbalance, as there aren't many young men, as much of Russia's male population is rather old, rather alcoholic, and much more unhealthy than their Western European counterparts. Even when measured with metropolitan Russia, the average life expectancy of men in Russia is a little over 64 years. Russia is also one of the Top 5 countries in the world regarding alcoholism, and they also lead the world in alcohol-related deaths. Russia also has the second highest suicide rate in Europe, with a total of 19.5 suicides per 100,000 people per year, and they also have one of the fastest growing HIV/AIDS epidemics in the world according to the Russian press! Their fertility rate is also at 1.5 births per woman, which is well below replacement rate and is on par with that of Japan and Hungary. But due to Russia having a gender imbalance with men, they are going to get hit with a demographic crisis worse than what even Japan will face.

So much for Russia being "preferable" to the US, Japan, and Western Europe, eh?

"But Russia is still not degenerate like the West and Japan! They care about morals! They're pro-life! They hate the plague of homosexuals that have infiltrated the West!"

Just like in the 1980s, the purpose of Russian cultural subversion, as proven by Trevor Loudon and J.R. Nyquist, is not to infiltrate the left, but the right. Just because Russia passes laws that may seem "based", does not mean that they are "based." The fact that Putin does not view LGBTQ+ as a recognized group but views United Russia as one does not change the fact. But let's talk about the LGBTQ+ community in Russia. As it turns out, they are treated no better, and no worse than they are in other parts of Europe, even Eastern Europe. They are still allowed to participate in the military, operate bars, and have their pride parades.

And let's talk about Russia's stance on abortion, shall we? Many conservatives have simply turned the other way regarding abortion in Russia and wrongly claim that they are "pro-life." Well, as you're about to see, abortion is not only allowed in Russia, but it is VERY common and is basically a way of life there:

As you can see, there are three countries that are completely in dark red - Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Russia leads Europe in most abortions performed, and to say that they are "pro-life" is disingenuous and stupid.

The problems that are present in places like the U.S., Western Europe, Japan and others don't justify worship of Russia, as they have problems just as bad, if not worse than what we see listed in the aforementioned countries. As bad as the U.S. has become today, especially in hard hit states like Michigan and others, I would much rather live there than in Russia.

"B-But Putin isn't a Communist! He's nothing like Stalin, Lenin and Khrushchev! He stands against wokeness and leftism!"

Is he now?! Well, I guarantee you that his so called "conservatism" is all just a goddamn act. Want proof? Here he is giving a speech at the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, Russia in 2017, which is a Communist Youth festival that is organized by the decades old and still operating Soviet international front organization World Federation of Democratic Youth, and has drawn communist youth from more than 180 countries, and has been around since 1949:

If Putin is "conservative", why would he be putting considerable political weight behind the largest international communist gathering in DECADES?!! Why would he do so for an event to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Bolshevik revolution, and one that mourned the death of Cuban communist dictator FIDEL FUCKING CASTRO?!!!

And let's not forget that in 2005, Putin admitted that the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union was, in his own words, "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century."

"But DetroitOtaku, he criticized Lenin, you know! Surely you're overthinking things!"

Yes, he did criticize Lenin. But not for being a Communist. To quote J.R. Nyquist in his article "Is Vladimir Putin a Communist?", he states the following about Putin's so-called "criticism" of Lenin:

"He criticized Lenin for “providing regions with autonomy.” By doing this, Lenin “planted an atomic bomb under the building that is called Russia and which would later explode.” This explosion took place in 1991 and led to the breakup of the Soviet Union. Putin was not criticizing Lenin’s communist ideas. He was criticizing Lenin for causing the breakup of the Soviet Union.

In response to a reading of Boris Pasternak’s poem about Lenin’s imposition of communist thought, Putin publicly said, “Ruling with your ideas as a guide is correct, but that is only the case when that idea leads to the right results, not like it did with Vladimir Ilyich [Lenin].” Many newspapers reported that Putin had verbally attacked the Soviet system and its founder. But Putin was actually criticizing Lenin’s tactics because they ultimately proved harmful to the communist state."

And that's not all. Lenin's corpse, is STILL on public display in his walk-able tomb, and Putin refuses to give him a proper burial. The Russian government still pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to preserve his dead body and they show no intention of burying him:

"At the same time, Putin has refused to bury Lenin, who lies in state at the center of Moscow. Is this the policy of a nationalist? It shows that Lenin remains the country’s most important historical figure; for when the Russians recovered the body of Tsar Nicholas II there was no thought of placing his body in Red Square. Nicholas II was buried in 1998. But Lenin remains unburied. Why? Putin has never given a satisfactory answer to that question."

And going back to Putin's stances on Christianity, here is what former KGB agent Konstantin Preobrazhensky has to say on that subject:

“The KGB [FSB/SVR] has killed a lot of [Russian] priests. Some emigres know about this, but have preferred to keep quiet. Some from false patriotism, others because they worked for the KGB. So I had to apply all my experience as a former Soviet intelligence analyst to recreate an approximate picture of [recent deaths] by interviewing a lot of people. At the end of April 1998, in the building of the New York Synod … Archpriest Lev Lebedev of Kursk, died a strange death. He was an implacable opponent of reintegration with the Moscow Patriarchate.”

He suggests that Lebedev was murdered by the FSB/SVR. And Lebedev's death coincidentally proved to be a decisive step in Moscow’s takeover of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad. Once upon a time the Russian Orthodox Church abroad had nothing to do with the Russian government. Now, they have been absorbed by them.

In a 2000 interview with Larry King on CNN, Putin was questioned over his religious beliefs, and this is what he had to say about it:

"King said to Putin, 'There is much talk about Vladimir Putin and religious faith. I’m told that you wear a cross. Is that true? Are you religious? What are your feelings in this area?'

Putin replied, 'I prefer – I would prefer not to develop on that subject in detail. I think such things are sacred for everybody. Everybody’s belief is not to be shown off….' Then Putin told the story of the miraculous cross.

King then asked, “Do you believe in a higher power?”

For those listening live, Putin was translated as follows: “I believe in the power of man.” In the official CNN transcript, the translation says, “I believe in human beings.” Of course, when a real Christian is asked to testify on behalf of his faith, such an answer would be tantamount to a denial of faith. It is, in fact, how a communist would answer the question. And I believe Putin had to give this answer for the sake of the Party cadres in Russia."

And I am inclined to agree with Nyquist on his assessment, as he has carefully analyzed Russian behavior since after the fall of the Soviet Union and is arguably the best expert on this subject. Nyquist also notes that Putin still considers Cuba one of Russia's "closest allies", and that Russia still arms Communist regimes around the world like Nicaragua, Venezuela, NORTH KOREA, and Angola. In 2013, Angola was listed as the top buyer of Russian Arms in Africa. This is not something that is open to question. And Russia has also contributed to China's military potential in terms of missiles, naval weapons and nuclear warheads.

British writer Christopher Story interviewed famous GRU defector Viktor Suvorov in 2000 whether he felt the collapse of the USSR was in-fact genuine. Suvorov said it was not genuine, and he assured Story that British intelligence and military leaders were clueless. When Story asked how this was possible, Suvorov said that it was "because they are stupid."

And if that's not enough for you, Trevor Loudon revealed in his first America Under Siege documentary that Russia supports Communist organizations like Workers World Party and Freedom Road, the latter organization being responsible for organizing protests and riots from the Vietnam War to Ferguson, Missouri:

And going back to Russia's stances on Islam, Loudon revealed in his second America Under Siege documentary, Soviet Islam, that Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko died of thallium poisoning, and that he was murdered under the orders of Putin. His crime? For revealing that Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the current leader of Al-Qaeda, was trained by the FSB in the late 1990s. That ALONE should raise alarm bells for those on the right regarding Russia. Because this could mean that Russia was partly responsible for the terrorist attacks ON 9/11!! We may not know for sure if Russia was responsible for orchestrating these events, so this subject requires as deeper dive. But unfortunately we may never know for certain if Russia was a key player in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

(Note: don't worry about the dislikes. They're mostly from butthurt Russia fanboys and trolls. PS: Read comments at your own risk.)

And now I have one word to say to those on the right who keep falling for this ruse:

STOP. FALLING FOR IT!!!! YOU ARE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THE COMMIES, YOU IDIOTS!!! WAKE UP!!

Russia is not a "Christian" country. Vladimir Putin is not a "traditional conservative" or a "Christian" either. All the evidence that I've presented from Trevor Loudon, J.R. Nyquist, and Freedom Alternative are proof enough that they are not to be trusted. The poor conditions in the West do not justify simping for Putin or Russia.

Worse still, many of these "conservatives" or Trad Zoomers who worship Russia, often dunk on Japan and their culture for being "degenerate", and like to push the belief that Russia is "more conservative" than they are, which if their voting records, standards of living, and cultural stances are concerned, is a statement which is only true on OPPOSITE DAY:

2017 Japanese general election: mons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=79659947

And finally, I'm only going to say this once: ANYONE, left, right or center, who simps for Russia and Putin, ESPECIALLY on the Right, should be shamed with extreme prejudice. And I for one, intend to. I am sick and tired of all this Russia simping on the Right and it is going to destroy the conservative movement if it continues.

And that's enough from me. Leave your angry comments in CAPS LOCK format in the comments below if this rant pisses you off. Because these facts...don't care about your feelings, snowflakes.

I'm out.
