Hello thinkers!

In Chapter 4 of “Pierce The Darkness”, “Every Political System is Tyrannical”, we step outside of the standard Left-Right paradigm and into a more realistic Ruler-Ruled paradigm.  B.A.D.A.S.S. views the acquisition of Political Power as the primary purpose of Politics and defines Political Power as the percentage of control over societal wealth and freedom each side wields.  It also reveals how to complete an accurate quick assessment of proposed political policy by focusing on what the policy’s consequences will be with respect to Political Power, the percentage of control of society’s wealth and freedom.  One can easily see the control line between the Rulers and the Ruled, call it the Liberty Line, sinking as government grants itself the Authority to grab greater and greater chunks of Political Power.

Chapter 5, “Sinformation” warns of the phenomenal danger inherent in deceitful information as it has the strength to harm our perceptual, political, and spiritual health.

If Deceit is a deadly Force, then would the ability to spot Deceit constitute a priceless, defensive skillset?

4. Every Political System Is Tyrannical

Many great thinkers have shared their thoughts and observations regarding Liberty and Tyranny, seemingly in vain considering the state of Liberty across COVID-19 Response land. For example, here is one from the prescient H.L. Mencken where he intimates that the entire point of Fake News is to create false fears for political gain.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.

Even Mencken would be impressed at the enormous global scale and extraordinary political power the imaginary COVID-19 hobgoblin has gifted Tyranny.

If one wants to understand politics in our world today, the quickest path to knowledge comes when we carve society into only two competing Political Power blocs:  the Rulers and the Ruled.

Once one does that and adopts the position that the language of Politics is Power, and the currencies of Politics are Wealth and Freedom, it becomes clear that both sides must suppress the other in order to sustain or enhance their control of society’s Wealth and Freedom.

Liberty, then, is the suppression of Tyranny.  Should the suppression fail, as the US Constitution has, Tyranny will gleefully lay its chains of oppression across the shoulders of Liberty.

It is important to realize that Tyranny never sleeps, and it never, ever rests in its ultimate quest for absolute power.  This is why free societies must remain perpetually vigilant in their search for Tyranny, because otherwise, freedom will eventually fall.

The best example of why the Ruler/Ruled paradigm is a valid approach is by examining the thought that the US Constitution is a system of “negative liberties”, as President Obama himself has stated.

This description is absolutely true, but only from the Ruler’s perspective.  From the Ruled’s perspective, the US Constitution provides a system of “positive liberties”, which makes sense as it was designed by the Ruled to suppress despotic Rulers.

Note that the phrase “negative liberties” is equivalent to “not Liberty”, which equals Tyranny.  It is interesting to note that current Rulers see the U.S. Constitution as Tyrannical.  The U.S. Constitution is a beautiful political and foundational document, even if it was long ago breached by systemic political corruption.

The Ruler/Ruled paradigm forces one to accept that every political system is a form of Tyranny, including Democracy.  I believe the free world has reached the point it can drop the myth that Democracy is synonymous with freedom.

The style of Tyranny – Fascism, Communism, Socialism, Oligarchy, Monarchy, Democracy, Medical, Scientific, Technocratic, even Republic, are mere adjectives that refer to that government’s Power structure and the mechanisms it uses to control the masses.  That stated, a Republic still seems best suited to accommodate smaller government.

In this sense, the type of Tyranny is irrelevant to the Ruled as what matters is their ability to remain in control of their wealth and freedom, which all types of Tyranny aim to claim.

By the way, Anarchy, or the lack of law, is no answer as Power will accrue to the most ruthless and brutal groups roaming the land, so Tyranny would rule once again.

There is a widely held sentiment that Socialism has failed everywhere it’s been tried. Keeping within the Ruler/Ruled perspective, the statement is true only on the Ruled side of the Power divide.  The Ruler’s view on Socialism is that it produces unimaginable wealth, stolen, of course, and absolute political power.  To the Rulers, Socialism is a spectacular success and all they have to do is not care about their citizen’s lives, which from their perspective, are owned by the State regardless.

Prior to the 2021 Canadian Federal election, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was labelled a tyrant by political opponents for his handling of the COVID-19 Response.  Trudeau taunted his adversaries by suggesting the solution to Tyranny was an election.

Never in history has a Tyranny ended on an election loss because Tyranny, being good at Evil, corrupts the electoral process to ensure it’s very survival.  Tyrannies do great in elections, often garnering vote percentages in the high 90s.  To paraphrase Comrade Stalin, it isn’t who votes that counts, it is who counts the votes.

It is absurd to suggest that Tyrannies are removed through a free and honest electoral process. Functioning Tyrannies are eradicated when, and only when, its leaders are eliminated or exterminated, and the corrupt control system is destroyed.  That is how life was, is, and always will be.

For those wondering, the above does not constitute a physical threat against the Prime Minister, nor is it advocating one.  It is simply pointing out what the Ruled must do to rid themselves of corrupt Rulers along with the system of governance they’ve thoroughly perverted.

Tyrannies do not function by the Rule of Law, but by the Law of Rulers.

4.1 Political Intent Versus Political Consequences

Many believe that all politicians lie, which only makes it tougher for those who are honest. Regardless, the fact is that politicians can and do mislead constituents, which is why policy proposals cannot accurately be evaluated based on political intent.

In fact, intent has nothing to do with consequences:  political intent is mere spin shaped to attract your vote, while consequences are the Reality caused by the implementation of political policy.

One quick method of getting an accurate feel of what political policy proposals will actually accomplish is to ask how the policy will impact the control of society’s Wealth and Freedom.

Let’s take a brief look at battle between Political Intent and Political Consequences for the COVID-19 Response.  Feel free to add to the list as it could differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Keep in mind the fact that COVID-19 Response Consequence list is still growing, while the intent remains unchanged.

Moreover, as bad as it is, this list does not mention the traumatic damage done to the world’s spiritual, mental, psychological, and physiological health.

A Quick Political Evaluation Of The COVID-19 Response

Political Intentions

Political Consequences

Save and protect livesBusiness closures
 Job losses
 Lockdowns
 Mandated masks
 Social distancing measures
 School closures
 Park closures
 Reduced access to Health Care
 Safe circles
 Mandatory testing
 Quarantines
 Increase in public debt
 Loss of savings
 Increase in private debt
 Non-compliance fines
 Mandatory vaccinations
 Curtailing cultural traditions

What truly matters in politics isn’t what the Rulers or potential Rulers claim as their main objective is always to sway a vote out of you in their quest for Power.  In all cases, the policy’s consequential impact on our lives is the most important factor.

Power, the control of Wealth and Freedom, is a zero-sum game but the problem is that Team Tyranny makes all the rules, has assumed the Authority to apply them, and feel they have the right to punish citizens for rejecting their totalitarian edicts.

The plain Truth is Tyranny won’t stop taking until the Ruled stop complying, and if we stop complying, Tyranny will reveal its true nature by reacting in an increasingly totalitarian manner.  Is this not an obvious observation of current political activity across the globe?

We, the Ruled, are not on the same boat as the Rulers.  We do, however, pay for their massive yacht and, of course, the operating costs and constant upgrades.  Plus, we are not allowed on that boat, nor are we allowed to see what the costs and upgrades are being used for.

Tyranny is obviously good at advancing itself against the will of free societies but, great news, Tyranny has an existential vulnerability that can be identified and subsequently eliminated.  So, learning how to find that vulnerability is the key to beginning the restoration of freedom and Liberty in this world.

5. Sinformation

Information can be your best friend, or your deadliest enemy so it is important to ensure the information you rely on is reliable and accurate, preferably before consuming it.

Our knowledge base is typically built upon a combination of information and experience, with information providing the majority of our understanding as our direct experience, while most crucial, is very limited.

In effect, our knowledge is constrained, and understanding shaped mainly through the information we consume, which would also be the case for society at large.  The internet grants near instantaneous access to more information on more subjects to more people than ever, so individuals and societies should be smarter than ever, yet the entire world is mired in utter chaos.

There must be a reason.

5.1 Intellectual Fuel

There are several amazing parallels between our digestive and intellectual processes.  In essence, food is to our digestive system what information is to our intellectual system.

Good food provides the nutrients necessary for the body to perform at optimal levels.

Good information provides the knowledge necessary for peak understanding.

The consumption of “Junk” food, food lacking in essential nutrients, will not properly fuel our physical selves nor satisfy our hunger.  We will be left with cravings and the desire for additional consumption. When we quell those cravings with more junk food, we fuel a perpetual cycle of dissatisfaction whose debilitating aspects accumulate to the point of disease, and often, disaster.

The consumption of “Junk” information, information lacking in Truth, will confuse our perceptual process and leave us mired in ignorance.  This leaves us confused, with a continuing desire for clarity.  If we fill that void with additional false information, we are fueling a perpetual cycle of confusion whose debilitating aspects accumulate into delusional beliefs, which when acted upon can cause disastrous  effects such as the rapacious Political Tyranny we see gleefully traipsing around the world today.

The consumption of toxic food can lead to food poisoning and the body reacting violently in an attempt to dispel the poison.  If enough toxins are consumed, death looms as a possibility.  There is not one person who has been sickened by food poisoning that wants to repeat the horrible experience.

The consumption of toxic information can lead to perceptual poisoning and false beliefs.  This is where the digestive and intellectual processes diverge, however, because our minds don’t work to reject that debilitating information when we trust the source.  When that happens, our minds connect toxic dots that cannot increase our knowledge, thereby leaving us more ignorant in the process.

It is just as important, if not more so, to protect our minds from junk information as it is our bodies from junk food.

5.2 Deceivil

Philosophers have long struggled to explain the relationship between perception and Reality, with arguments ranging from “there is no reality, only perception” to “Perception is Reality” and much in between.

However, Reality just is what it is, and it exists beyond our perceptions.  Our perceptions are merely narrow personal views of Reality, but they are extremely important views because they play a significant role in the formation of Beliefs.

So, if the Information we consume is toxic to our perceptions, meaning it draws our understanding away from Reality, then the Beliefs that are formed from that Information will be delusional to some degree. Additionally, the further from Reality our perceptions travel, the more delusional our Beliefs become, and as that delusion grows, the more dangerous it is for us to act on that delusional Belief.

Similarly, if an entire society’s Information is toxic to their perceptions, then that society’s Beliefs will become delusional and the more delusional society’s Beliefs get, the more dangerous it is for society to act on those delusions.

Obviously, then, because Information provides most of society’s knowledge base, any society wishing to remain sane needs to make sure the Information it relies upon is accurate and truthful.

Now Deceit, by purposeful design, is an attack on Reality because it is intended to delude perceptions and Beliefs.  The only reason to Deceive is to persuade someone into thinking or acting in the Deceiver’s best interest.

On a personal level, Deceiving someone is ugly and vile but scaled up to the societal level, Deceiving everyone is simply Evil.

5.5 Deceit Is Anti-Power

Here is a simple look at the general impact Information has on Perceptions and Beliefs.

The path to Truth looks like this,

Reality -> Information -> Knowledge -> Understanding -> Wisdom = Truth

Inject Deceit into Information and the path changes as follows.

Deceit -> Information -> Ignorance -> Confusion -> Foolishness = Delusion

The phrase “Knowledge is Power” can only be true when the Information feeding our minds is based in Reality.  If Deceit flips Knowledge into Ignorance, then it follows that “Ignorance is Power”.

As odd as that phrase seems, all it suggests is that the Power of Knowledge has shifted from the consumer of Information to its disseminator, which makes perfect sense when you consider that Deceivers are seeking an advantage over the Deceived.

The Deceiver gains Knowledge simply because they understand the breadth and depth of the Deceived’s Ignorance and can therefore exploit that Ignorance.

Deceit is a transformative Force and for the consumer of that toxic Information, Deceit is anti-Power. It converts Information from a tool of Good to a weapon of Evil.

When the control of Information is placed in the wrong hands, and those hands are trusted to provide society with the news, what advantage could the Deceivers be seeking?

5.6 Deceit And The Political Process

Public Belief drives the political process, whether that Belief is right or wrong.  People will vote for the party they feel is best suited to advance policy that is most in line with their Beliefs.

Now, how would it look if Tyranny attempted to advance itself in a free society by using Truth?

“Hello friends! We are going to tell you what to do and when to do it. Those who dissent will be fined, imprisoned, and the worst offenders, terminated.  All for the common good, of course.

You will give us your wealth and property immediately!  You, your children, and your future now belong to us because we know better than you.  Also, we don’t like you.

But we care about us, so don’t forget to Vote Tyranny!”

It’s ridiculously absurd, right?

Obviously, Tyranny cannot drive its totalitarian agenda with Truth, which leaves Deceit as its only option to convince the populace that they intend to do Good when their actual aim is to destroy Liberty.

This is why it’s best to evaluate political policy aims by the weight of the policy’s consequences and not the spin of political intent.

Deceit is Tyranny’s talisman, and Tyranny simply can’t survive without it.  All Tyranny needs is majority control of the Information society consumes.  Plug in Deceit, sway perceptions, Beliefs, and opinions, then presto, people will unwittingly vote to destroy their Freedoms all the while Believing they’re defending them.

5.7 Deceit And The Spiritual Realm

It is up to you whether or not you Believe in God, but I would caution those who feel science trumps Faith to the point it’s foolish to worship an invisible Force because you too, have Faith in invisible Forces.

For instance, the Four Fundamental Forces of Nature, of which Gravity is one, are invisible Forces. In addition, there are many scientists who are convinced that Reality consists of multiple dimensions, all of which are invisible except the one we can perceive with the senses we have.

So, if science can speak of multiple dimensions, why can’t one of them be the Spiritual Realm?

Science and Faith do co-exist, my friends, whether you believe in God or not, and Deceit attacks both our Physical and Spiritual Realities.

My experience is limited to Christianity, but it is doubtful any Deity is happy being Deceived.  This is how powerful Deceit is in the Spiritual Realm.

The bible speaks about the Seven Spirits of God, which are,

  1. The Spirit of the LORD
  2. The Spirit of wisdom
  3. The Spirit of understanding
  4. The Spirit of counsel
  5. The Spirit of strength
  6. The Spirit of knowledge
  7. The Spirit of Fear of the LORD

What do we know about the impact of Deceit?  Well, Deceit attacks Reality.  It mangles meaning and deludes Belief.  It turns knowledge into ignorance which then transforms understanding into confusion and lastly, wisdom into foolishness, which is all that can be expected when one’s perceptions are delusional.

Furthermore, what value has counsel if it is rooted in ignorance, confusion, and foolishness except to serve Satan by undermining God?  In addition, if knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and counsel are lost, where will the courage to find strength be found?  It likely won’t among weakened Spirits.

With five Spirits of God diminished and ineffectual, it is near impossible for people to accept the remaining two, the Spirit of the LORD and the Spirit of Fear of the Lord, all but assuring we turn our backs on God, which allows Satan to flourish in our physical world.

The singular tactic of injecting Deceit into our minds is key to Satan’s Spiritual victory as well as Tyranny’s political success.  It is not a complicated strategy, which makes it simple to implement, but it is powerful enough to destroy Reality, which will take the Truth and Liberty with it when it falls.

Satan’s purpose for Deceit is to destroy Reality in both Realms, causing people to commit Evil against one another in the Physical Realm and because of that, to be shunned by God in the Spiritual Realm.

Deceit is the most powerful weapon in the Universe.  It is key to humanity’s self destruction, and if we’re to survive at all as Free people, we need to become better at discerning Deceit and it is absolutely imperative we eliminate it from our Information streams.

Until next time,

Tomorrow's post will feature Chapter 6 of "Pierce The Darkness", “Living an Illusion”, which speaks to the power of the Fake Narrative Trap to corral the herd.  I can imagine new readers will have trouble accepting the Reality that political action based on a false premise fictionalizes the entire story that follows, even the red-pill truth parts.  We are living an illusion.

Have a good one,
