Pierce The Darkness - Chapters 2, 3
Hello thinkers! Chapter 2 of "Pierce The Darkness" speaks briefly to the Tyranny spreading around the world and that while we didn't ask for it, it is our responsibility to do something about it. Chapter 3 suggests there is still hope, that we have not fully lost our Liberty but that our future relies on people waking to the real threat we face and joining forces to hold the corrupt Authorities accountable.
2. Tyranny’s Spread Is NOT Your Fault, BUT….
This message is incredibly important: the vile Tyranny subjecting the world at the moment isn’t your fault. It isn’t. It’s a combination of misplaced trust, corrupt leadership, perceptual vulnerabilities, humanity’s social nature, and Evil’s purposeful, political Deceit. The chaos and confusion we are mired in is a direct result of the complete and total corruption of our culture and social systems.
We have lost our way, and it is not by random chance or accident. Liberty is under direct, deliberate, sustained political attack, and has been for decades. We didn’t arrive at this precipice overnight. In actuality, we all have been born and raised within that corrupt system, meaning we’ve learned to live and thrive inside it, which makes the corruption much more difficult to discern and accept, particularly for those who are extremely successful within it. The corruption of our world runs deep and wide so rooting it out will obliterate most of our current understandings, and yes, that is a good thing.
You aren’t the lone citizen who has been asleep at the wheel. Seriously, name one Western “free world” politician who even questioned the COVID-19 narrative from the beginning? How about a political hopeful, mainstream media institution, or uncensored social media influencer? How many stood against the Narrative, or stand there today when they can clearly see the totalitarian chains being laid around their family, friends, neighbours, and country each and every day?
If those you rely on for leadership, insight, and information swallowed the original narrative as truthful, how could regular people be faulted for following suit? Why would you expect to think differently than everyone else? Few are willing to go there, to willingly venture into the unknown, but they are the few whose perspective might help right now.
Just to be clear, we do not want to return to the Old Normal because that is the corrupt world which has brought us the New Oppression, and to return there only means we’ll end up back here. We need to accept that our systems are corrupt and broken and it will take a lot of work to fix them. First, however, is ending Tyranny’s rampage.
Although the rampaging Tyranny isn’t your fault, it is yours and society’s responsibility to stop it. To do that, people need to understand how Tyranny managed to take control of free nations with a single diseased decree.
This book will show precisely how that has happened, which in turn will tell us exactly what we must do to end it.
3. Growing Hopium In A Toxic Climate
As dark as our world seems now, and with greater darkness promised, there is still reason to harbor hope for a free future, particularly if people learn how to identify how Tyranny manipulates us all.
Tyranny is masterful at keeping society divided, confused, and mired in doubt which prevents many from seeing, or accepting, the deadly threat that Tyranny poses until they actually feel Tyranny’s bite themselves.
I am not a trained psychologist, psychiatrist, or physiologist with deep knowledge of humanity’s typical Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn Responses when facing a terrifying threat. However, as an experienced analyst and observer of critical consequences, it seems to me that humanity’s collective threat response is somewhat different from each individual’s preferred threat response.
Hope for the future, then, rests with a majority of society banding together in the most difficult of the four responses, Fight.
3.1 Fight, Flight, Freeze, Or Fawn
Humanity’s basic responses to imminent danger have been categorized into four distinct reactions known as the Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn Responses. Typically, those responses best describe an individual’s preferred, or instinctive, behaviour when surprised by threat, real or imagined. However, as societies are comprised of individuals, societies will also exhibit the same set of threat Responses, but simultaneously, with one threat response dominating the others depending on the situation.
The dominant threat response changes with societal experience and understanding, and it seems like threat response dominance at a societal level is ordered as follows: Flight, Fawn, Freeze, and finally, Fight.
Remember, our first actions are driven by self-protection, which includes our natural instinct to trust and obey Authority.
Collectively, humanity’s first reaction to the imagined (we knew nothing) threat of COVID-19 was to engage our Flight Response, and we stampeded away from the perceived deadliness of the virus in blind panic. We were in the dark and confused about where to go – the virus is invisible and could be lurking anywhere, on anything, or in anyone – so the Government stepped up with a ready-to-go COVID-19 Response. It was incredibly brutal and harmful, but it matched the perceived seriousness of the threat.
The Fawn Response quickly followed. Mask up. Lock down. Queue up. Stay home. On the dot. In the circle. Follow the arrow. Social distance. Do the right thing. Save grandma. Clap for first responders. COVID dances. Protect the children. We’re all in it together. Stay safe!
At this moment, however, many have chilled on the never-ending “Response” and have decided to Freeze rather than continue toward the catastrophic abyss this oppressive road ends at. Although still unable to act in unity against the threat of Tyranny at this point, compliance to, and trust in, Authority has begun to erode. The Authorities understand this signifies a change in societal perception and that they are facing a serious threat to their position of Power, which is why they react by increasing fear and threat levels against their own people. They are terrified of what comes next, and they should be.
As society learns from experiencing the consequences of totalitarian policy it begins to move to the next threat response. There comes a point in time when the number of oppressed citizens is large enough, knowledgeable enough, and determined enough to pull the rest of society along with them.
The Fighters won’t move but the Freezers will look for a better way, and the lone option will be Fight. Fawners will do what they do and flip to Fawn over the new growing societal power of the people. The runners will realize the ground they stand on isn’t safe, that their numbers have dwindled to the point of exposure, and so will choose Flight again, but this time, they will flee to the Fighters willing to protect them and their freedom. Please don’t take this as a criticism of those folks, they simply need guidance and seek leaders to follow.
We now see humanity moving towards the last response in the growing anti-mandate protests across the globe. People are finally beginning to stand together against the rampaging Evil. This united stance will divide Tyranny’s house because Tyranny needs people in the Authority class to perform their dirty work, and those people will no longer accept and abide by Tyranny’s word.
Their house would be divided. Our house, finally, would stand united. This will be the day hope trumps fear, and freedom will rise.
So, you see, there is still hope for a free future.
I also hope you are beginning to understand why the vile Tyranny abusing us isn’t your or your political opponents fault and that people who work within the Authorities aren’t to blame. Evil is very, very good at Evil.
This last step will be a most difficult task, and I can’t say I’d have the strength if I lost everything to Tyranny’s depredations, but we will need to forgive people who don’t deserve it, and we will need to forgive ourselves if we want a healthy, happy, and free society in the future.
So, politicians who issued, or accepted the need for, damaging decrees, police who beat up and assault people for rejecting the Response, the bureaucrats following orders, the teachers who mistreated students, doctors and nurses who did harm to their patients, the CEO’s practicing corporate fascism, vapid celebrity shills, and especially the journalists who spread unnecessary fear and ignorance will all need to be forgiven by a society that has been deliberately harmed by those they trusted. Most, like us, are victims of Deceit too, they just happen to work in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Just so there is no misunderstanding, forgiveness doesn’t eliminate the need for accountability. Those truly responsible for these heinous crimes against us must face justice, or the corrupt will simply begin anew. That being said, God will judge regardless, and Evil does not fare well in his court.
Keep in mind that it isn’t just people who must be held accountable – our corrupt system must also pay a severe price. In other words, we need to tear down and rebuild our Democratic systems, not just eliminate the current leadership.
