The Real Information War and the Illuminati Smokescreen

I know we all have encountered a few of these types of people in our lives. I say this because I used to be one myself. Sure, the meme is a bit hyperbolic but, with the obsession some show about Satanic symbolism and imagery in our culture, isn't doesn't too far from the truth.

Fidget Spinners. Not even once.

Many upon many professing Christians are so distracted with Satanic symbolism in our culture that they miss the real misinformation campaign. What campaign is that might you ask?

The Gospel Misinformation Campaign

What do I believe Satan's objective is in perpetuating this Illuminati hunting fanaticism? I think there are a few and, in my opinion, it has been quite effective.

1.Create a smokescreen of issues for false religion to employ to obscure the real issue i.e. repentance from dead works religion and believing the gospel in truth.

I must add a qualifier though as with the shifting definitions in our postmodern society, we must acknowledge that the world of false religion has fabricated many alternative versions. The gospel that I am referring is the one that was *once delivered to the saints* as conveyed in Jude 1:3.

Instead, of concerning themselves with gospel things, they are mostly preoccupied how consuming certain forms of entertainment are able to turn people away from the truth. Well, I got news for you. I don't care if you're watching PUREFLIX or NETFLIX, there is gospel misinformation everywhere in the form of contrary doctrine. That's what Christians ought to be concerned with. Not hidden triangles, covered eyes or the conspiracies about lizard people. Is it possible that these things are rather the distractions from the more dangerous anti-gospel ideas?

The Gospel Once Delivered.

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3 KJV

This isn't the pliable Play-Doh gospel that changes based on societal whims or fads. You can see evidence of this in the visible church with the wide array of gimmicks they employ to win converts. The smoke machines, the lasers shows, the over-the-top production values in the music would often make you think you are at a concert or place to be entertained rather than a place to worship. I'm all for contemporary worship but some churches take it WAY too far. I remember one I visited where their worship music included Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble". I think it's perfectly fine for Christians to appreciate secular culture but, to be honest, during worship service probably is not the place for it and I could probably make a case but that's outside of the scope of this article so we'll shelf that for now.

The bottom line is these kind manufacture their appeal on the basis of the flesh and this is absolutely at odds with the offense of the cross. They suppose they can add a few ingredients to make the gospel more palatable. What they fail to realize that by doing so, they reveal it is the same gospel for which they are ashamed.

It's not meant to appeal to our flesh, that is the part of our nature attempting to assert our own brand of righteousness in the world, but rather the gospel appeals to the Spirit which acknowledges the righteousness of Christ's death at the cross. The gospel in truth asserts two very particular things for which fallen man cannot assent.

Those are that righteousness is found in Christ alone, through His death imputed, and adminstered via God's absolute sovereignty which necessitates that transcendental free-will gets thrown straight out the window. Many humans love to entertain the notion that they have control over their destiny, their beliefs, and are capable of choosing good or evil but I can assure you that this is a lie straight from the lips of the serpent documented in the book of Genesis.

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Genesis 3:5 KJV

Most people don't understand nor are able to fathom that they are still under the same Adamic curse that was declared in the garden which renders them incapable of making a choice to believe the gospel of Christ. The Scriptural proposition is rather than God made that choice for us before the world began.

Before any of us were yet a glimmer in our father's eye, the Sovereign LORD of the universe had decreed which of us would be vessels of His mercy and conversely (the false religious REALLY hate this implication) those that would be determined to be vessels of wrath set aside for destruction. If you've dealt with the free-will religious theologians, you will know that there is a significant degree of mental gymnastics they must perform when reading Romans 9.

The problem is the doctrine of predestination is laden throughout Scripture and meshes perfectly with the logical order of operations of salvation of a person. I know you math buffs have PEMDAS aka "Please, Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally!" or other variations and likewise, the LORD God has defined an order of operations concerning His redemption of men. I may see if I can come up with a mnemonic device later on about that but I will sum up that main points that support the proposition.

Regeneration -> Faith -> Repentance

All men are fallen and cannot believe the Gospel without supernatural intervention. Think of it as a supernatural or metaphysical bit that is flipped in the person's mind and they thereafter are able to assent or agree with the gospel propositions as God has declared them in His Word. I must emphasize that I said logical order vs chronological and the reason for this is quite simple.

The LORD is not constrained by time and this has significance when we are talking about justification, which is God declaring one righteous, and regeneration, which is the being born again or rather God breathing back spiritual life into the person, and repentance, that is the person changing their mind concerning their belief in the gospel.

The differences on this issue have led to debate but I don't really care to split hairs on that but the crux of the issue is one cannot repent UNTIL AFTER supernatural regeneration has already taken place. There are a couple texts that I can use to support this.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, *FAITH*, Galatians 5:22 KJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8 KJV

I know some folks, perhaps the Primitive Baptists, believe there may be a possible time lapse between regeneration and repentance but I don't want us to get hung up on that. The important take away is that there is no repentance without faith and no faith without regeneration.

There is no repentance without faith and no faith without regeneration.

This is the work of God. It's pure monergism. The LORD Jesus is the focal point of this work. His finished work on the cross that paid for sins past, present and future for His elect. That's the gospel and, if God reveals it to you, you will be free indeed. Free from the yoke of the law. Free from the covenant of works aka the covenant of death. There is true liberty within the covenant of grace. It puts to death the "Taste Not, Touch Not" religious notions of the world. On that note, I need to get to the next point.

2.The Illuminati Obsessed "Christian" damage the credibility of Christianity and foster a more dismissive sentiment among unbelievers

To be honest, I can't blame unbelievers for not wanting to hear another "Vanilla" false gospel presentation. The kind that relies on emotionalism, knee jerk reactions and the turn or burn methodology. Many of these are still under the yoke and tragically have no inkling that they are in the same sad estate as the one they are attempting to proselytize. In the free will paradigm, there is often the fear of apostasy. That is they believe people can be regenerated born again and fall away as a result of their lack of law obedience. What exactly that entails may vary from person and here is my indictment of their presumption.

- If you believe someone putting up a tree during the Christmas season means they are Saturn worshipping unbeliever headed for hell, you are probably a self-righteous religious hypocrite.

- If you believe someone allowing their children to trick or treat means they are going to hell, you are probably a self-righteous religious hypocrite.

Ok, this one is special because I saw an example of it today on Twitter.

I guess it's that season again. The time for Killjoy Christians to call you a sinner for dressing your kiddo in a pumpkin costume and getting some candy. Okie dokie.

Here is a response I believe was on point.

- If you believe someone who enjoys Hollywood movies that contain satanic imagery is a heathen headed for hell, you are probably a self-righteous religious hypocrite.

- If you believe someone who enjoys worldly music that contains satanic themes is headed straight for hell, you are probably a self-righteous religious hypocrite.

I can go on and on as to the many upon many criteria that the various camps use to judge.

One of the favorite biblical phrases that the unreligious love to use is unsurprisingly "Judge not lest ye be judged". Of course they often take it out of context and use it as a blanket statement to mean no form of judging is acceptable in Christendom but they are wrong.

Christians are to judge others... but righteously!

Yes, you have heard right. Believers are to judge others. The difference is how we judge and by a very particular criteria. We are to judge righteously and by the propositions of the gospel. That is how we identify who is our brother and sisters in the faith. We judge based on the gospel they confess. It's not some nebulous thing.

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24 KJV

We are able to put others words to the test and see how they flush with the vital doctrines of the Scripture. That is how we can ascertain the state of the inner man. Analyzing the doctrine they hold, comparing to biblical doctrine, and using induction to draw conclusions about whether their acceptance or rejection of the gospel and, in that fashion, you are able to identify the issue and reason with them from the Scriptures. It's difficult to fix a problem if you don't know what it is.

No, I'm not talking about more minor issues such as eschatological views but vital gospel doctrine which are able to be discerned spiritually. Yes, there is a metaphysical component and it does not require a PhD in theology. For example, we know that the humanity of Christ is an essential gospel doctrine and was defended in the early church against the historical heresy known as Docetism which stands at odds with the physical bodily resurrection of Christ which if it did not occur our as stated in the Scripture then "our faith is in vain". I don't think I have encountered any Docetists in my apologetical engagements but I have encountered a fair share of works-religionists. Most of the time, these are the same ones espousing the "abstaining from anything worldly" doctrine but sometimes I suppose it could just be a confused believer.

Like a doctor, you must diagnose the problem. It also helps to practice with the more common issues. A decent apologetics course is helpful but remember not to rely heavily on fancy words in your theology book (Yes, am guilty of this at times.) but strive to connect with the person, learn who they are, and what makes them tick. Remember, this isn't to get the soul winning notch on your belt or the Evangelist Scout badge. This is a labor of love to be part of the process God uses to reach His lost sheep. (Read Romans 10)

I think the "Taste Not, Touch Not" types are misguided and need prayer. Again, I was once the same way. I use to regularly watch the Vigilant Christian YT channel, Evangelist Anita Fuentes, read the Left Behind books and other mainstream "Christian" entertainment. It was not a time I am very proud. Somewhere down the line making my journey from free-will evangelicalism through Calvinism, my mind was changed and them SMACK!

The truth was laid down on me. I was changed from the cringe-inducing evangelical to a believer in Sovereign Grace.

I was free from bondage. We are married to Christ via the beautiful covenant of grace and we do not go back to Moses for law obedience. Why would we?

We who believe now walk by faith and our law is fulfilled in one thing. LOVE. If we look back to the law to affirm our conversion, we are like the wife of Lot looking back at Sodom. That didn't go so well for her, now did it?

I will add there is a Scripture that indicates we are to examine ourselves. I will leave you with this final passage as something to chew on,

5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 5-11

When was the last time you examined yourself by THE GOSPEL?

(One that doesn't involve whether you put up one of these 🎄 during the holiday season. Yeah, that's not it.)
