Heart Cave Healing: Little Blue Dolphin Origin Story
What is the significance of the little blue dolphin?
Dolphin spirit energy consists of playfulness, joy, protection, inner peace and cooperation. Many people are drawn to dolphin spirit energy due to the dolphin's playful nature. Dolphins spend a good portion of their days playing and can remind us that life is meant for living! They protect the weaker members of the pod, even other species of dolphins and humans from danger. The dolphin breathes air, but lives in water, making her a symbol for balancing two worlds.
Sometimes grief or heavy emotions send us plunging to the depths of emotional despair. We sometimes struggle to breathe when our hearts are blocked by grief.
Losing Dad to cancer in February 2017 was a loss for which I couldn't possibly have been prepared. As someone who has been learning how to manage patches of anxiety and depression, intense emotions were not unfamiliar to me. However the grief from losing my Dad, best friend, and role model was unlike any other struggle I faced before. I knew I had to get serious about my healing find sustainable forms of coping with the intense grief and sadness.
The ocean is such an incredible source of healing power. In July 2017, a trip to Topsail Beach really changed the course of my healing journey. I felt comforted by the ocean. As my tears fell into its crashing waves, I felt like the universe was embracing me and helping me carry my burden. It was on this trip that I remembered ancient healing tools that I had forgotten about including healing crystals, earth grounding, and energy work through the 7 main chakras.
Since this point, I have learned more about crystals and I continue to find myself overcoming major emotional blocks. Healing crystals have become a wonderful reminder of God's abundant love and blessings, which can be found right here on earth. Learning to wire wrap is a new skill for me, but I couldn't keep my passion for crystals to myself. I wanted to share this joy and source of healing. I created Little Blue Dolphin to propel my own healing, inspire me to create and share love with others.
Dolphins are playful, joyful and loving members of the community, inspired by heightened cosmic awareness and a sense of compassion for all beings. The Little Blue Dolphin Etsy project is my healing. By sharing my healing story and passion for crystals, I hope to put back a little love into my community.

I have purchased stones from local gem shops and trade shows, but it can be difficult to get information about where crystals are sourced from. It is not my intention to support unethical mining practice of gold, copper, cobalt, etc.
