Our lives and actions are Magick! From birth to death we use our Spark of The Infinite to accomplish this! Most doubt this, but in order to understand and to bring about magical change we must ask:
What is Magick?
Magick is the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will.
(Aleister Crowley- Magick In Theory And Practice)
All human beings are individuals with their own proper character and proper motion in their life. As such, we each have a course, depending partly on the self, and partly on the environment which is natural and necessary for each. Anyone who is forced from his own course, either through not understanding himself, or through external opposition, comes into conflict with the order of the Universe, and suffers accordingly. When a person has their conscious will at odds with their True Will they are wasting their strength. This person cannot hope to influence their environment efficiently.
When a person is doing their True Will they will find that they have the full inertia of the Universe to assist them! When doing their True Will one finds that working with the available forces in this world brings success to one’s endeavours. Humans are capable of being, and using, anything which is perceived, for everything that is perceived is in a certain sense a part of their being. A person doing their True Will may thus subjugate the whole Universe of which they are conscious!
But most people are ignorant of their own being and powers. Even our ideas of our limitations are based on experience of the past, and every step in our progress extends our empire. There is therefore no reason to assign theoretical limits to what we may be, or what we may do. Every person is more or less aware that their individuality comprises several orders of existence, even when they maintain that the subtler principles are merely symptomatic of the changes in the physical body. A similar order may be assumed to extend throughout nature.
Any time we use the forces of nature and the physical objects of the universe, changed and channeled by our Will into something we need and desire, we are doing Magick. A person may learn to use any force so as to serve any purpose, by making himself a fit receptacle for it, establishing a connection with it, and arranging conditions so that its nature compels it to flow toward him. Only our sense that we are separate from, and opposed to, the Universe is a bar to conducting its currents. There is no limit to the extent of the relations of any person with the Universe in essence; for as soon as a person makes themselves one with any idea the means of measurement cease to exist.
