The Ladder of Consciousness

Emergence of Consciousness, Growth… must move in tandem, like rungs up a ladder.

There is High Talk, or Instruction in The View.

Then there is Being, and Works which transform it. When someone has read and heard High Talk and can repeat it, but their Being has never shifted, there will be an inner contradiction between their idea of themselves and who they truly are.

A Tension.

When someones Being shifts and no one is there to give them High Talk, or Instruction in The View so that they know what is happening to them, they turn to friends, family, psychiatrists and The System, who tell them they have fallen down, when really they are falling up.

It’s called the Pre/Trans Fallacy and is The Core Flaw within the Western Approaches that need to be evolved.

We start life prepersonal, preverbal, preegoic, prerational and pretemporal. Then we become all those things- a person, verbal, egoic, rational and can live in and tell time. Then as is our birthright and very reason for being here, we start shifting into the transpersonal, transegoic, transrational and transtemporal.

But a child often sounds like a sage and a sage often sounds like a child. Both live outside of the personal, egoic, rational and temporal. But the sages view includes the childs, the childs view does not include the sages. The sage can use a clock when needed, the child cannot.

So as a person nudges up into the Transegoic and voices these Trans-awarenesses to their friends, family and society, they are told they have fallen down, when really they were falling up.

THAT is the value of a Guide anchored in the Transpersonal as a Structure from which to live, rather than a momentary fleeting experience of it during States.

From the broadest way of looking at it, there is a dis-unified ego, a unified ego, then the Psychic/Subtle, Causal, and Ultimate.

The Causal is the Atman, or Holy Ghost within. The Ultimate is Brahman, or The Father, which fills this within, then from without.

Awakening is a Process, not an event. It is a Process of moving upwards, into the unified ego at Vision-Logic, a precursor to moving beyond to the Pyschic-Subtle, which is a precursor to moving beyond to the Causal, to then move beyond to The Ultimate.

Enlightenment is to settle at one of these last two levels as a Structure from which to live, rather than a State that is experienced, but not able to be maintained.

From a Structure, we experience a State, which then becomes a Structure and once settled there, the prior is seen now as but a Stage.

There is a bit of you still left at the Causal who is experiencing a sense of a journey, the arrow still in flight, however light. Not all traditions have The Ultimate as their Goal.

First the swirling pairs of opposites within the ego must attain Union. The Two within become One as this second Union occurs. It is the Function of a Guide to assure that all The Traps are slipped.
