Deception Vs. Collaboration

Deception increases confusion; confusion increases Wrong Actions. Wrong Actions increase suffering for ourselves and others.

Deception increases confusion; awareness of our confusion increases hesitation to act for fear of doing a Wrong Action. Persistent confusion and hesitation to act increases a feeling of powerlessness and eventual apathy, which increases suffering.

Deception increases confusion; if we have been deceived, and are unaware of our confusion, we are an unintentional conduit for, and a Source of Deception, and are part of the cause of apathy in others.

Intentional Deception occurs when one party has Special Knowledge the other party does not, and uses its opposite, its occult, or variation thereof, to deceive.

Once the Original Intentional Deceiver declares that it is raining outside, the Truth that it really isn’t raining… would be Special Knowledge.

Unintentional Deception occurs when someone responds to the Claim Offer of the Original Intentional Deceiver with a ‘for’ or ‘against’, rather than noticing it to be deception, and rejecting the offer as neither true or false… and by doing so accepts the Original Claim Offer and agrees it is raining outside.

“Not more rain.” or, “We need rain.”

By doing so they have accepted the deception as truth; and in their thoughts they are already an unintentional Source of Deception, worshiping a False Idol in their mind. They have a thought-image of it raining outside, but it’s not. If they repeat it to anybody they are bearing False Witness.

In a competitive arena, we are enemies, so if I have Special Knowledge I keep it secret and use it to create advantage over you. Since there is deception, there must be rigid hierarchy and compartmentalization in all the systems I build.

In a cooperative arena, if I have Special Knowledge I am your protector; put your interests before my own, and practice full disclosure so you share the Knowledge as well.

Because of that sense of fiduciary responsibility, I am going to take extra steps to verify what I say or repeat to be true and correct. There will be a shared Open Source Knowledge Base, a flexible, creative environment filled with collaborative equals and an open door policy between participating collaborators in all the systems I build.
