The above is meant to be a more clear and concise categorization of how socialism contrasts to the other primary and dominant economic structures in our world today. There are so many false and skewed definitions and images of socialism floating around, and most were either created or manipulated by forces fundamentally opposed to it and clearly motivated to misrepresent rather than educate.
The primary cause for this is due to the McCarthyist Cold War mentality that propagandized much of the western world for decades. This may well have been the largest, longest, and most highly funded propaganda campaign in history and is now known generally as the Red Scare. Many examples of similarly themed propaganda are still regularly produced even. During this period of intense state sanctioned repression, many other populist movements including socialists in the U.S. and around the world were actively persecuted by the imperial capitalist class.
Like many other things in this Orwellian world of propaganda, it is important to sift through the lies and distill the grains of truth that remain, sometimes few and far between. It is all too easy to get distracted away from truth by all the endless fictions being bought and sold around us.

The most corrupt are ALL far-left scumbags:

Every single Big Tech billionaire supports MARXISM:
Google, Twitter, Facebook, Apple as well as the biggest Wall Street firms etc. systematically support the far left, Antifa & BLM.
Libertarians & Conservatives are getting banned even just for exposing the fact that Marx & Engels were racist, antisemitic & German nationalists and that the Nazis were 100% Marxists. There's not one major corporation that did not give support and money to BLM. Yet the BLM founders officially declared that they are Marxists, even "trained Marxists"...
Every single communist regime in history turned into a corrupt, fascist nightmare and if you read people who thought this through logically, instead of dumb fools who believe in Socialism / Communism / Marxism, you'd know whyt this is not just inevitable, it is 100% predictable.
Ludwig von Mises wrote his book "Gemeinwirtschaft" (Socialism) in 1922. You should really read it, for in that book, he predicts the famines, the purges and the ultimate collapse of the USSR - and his ONLY assumption is that they will follow their Marxist ideas to the letter.
