Sacrificing civilization to not be racist
The title picture stems from a Harvard Magazine article that pushed a BLM agenda, blaming all the race problems in the US on "white supremacists" while totally ignoring that BLM is a black supremacist movement that promotes an extremely violent form of racism and Marxism, which is an antisemitic, racist, genocidal ideology and the foundation of Nazism.

Haiti became a country ruled by blacks. Unfortunately, the condition of the former slaves didn't improve much - they were officially free, but now lived under one of the most incompetent, most corrupt governments on the planet. African countries gained their independence about 60-70 years ago, after a period of colonization by European powers. Now there's a new colonization in progress, as China is taking over large parts of Africa. Apparently, the desire for freedom from foreign overlords was not all that strong.
A little reminder: on first contact, Europeans found that there was not a single highly developed sub-Saharan civilization. They had not even discovered the use of the wheel and most tribes lived at the level of the Neolithic - the stone age. A few were at a medieval level.

Under European powers, many African countries were modernized. This video shows scenes from Rhodesia - now Zimbabwe - in the 1960s. It was a modern, almost European, country and life seemed to be rather pleasant.
A Marxist independence movement launched a civil war against the Europeans colonizers. Mugabe took over and turned the country from breadbasket of Africa into a place of misery plagued by endless famines:

Blame Slavery

Let's just say that the "blame Europeans" is a game that is not helpful. Africa is a gigantic continent that is overflowing with natural resources. It's land mass is greater than 3x the entire USA. In theory, the entire continent should swim in wealth.
Why the failure?
There are obviously numerous factors at work, ideology being one of them - economic collapse is inevitable under any form of socialism and is quite independent of race and ethnicity, as European countries, as well as all the regions of the USSR, failed miserably under communism as well, despite the fact that their populations had rather high average IQs. Intelligence does not help people overcome the problems inherent in a socialist dictatorship until they manage to get rid of it.
A welfare state such as Sweden can only be maintained with very high productivity, which implies that economic activity must be largely unrestricted.
Rwanda actually achieved quite an amazing turnaround after the genocide against the Tutsis in 1994, proving that better economic rules can work wonders even in Africa:

Black cities in the US
Various large metropolitan areas in the US have been under black Democrat (Marxist) rule for up to 60 years, often uninterrupted, including Detroit, Chicago, St-Louis, Baltimore, DC etc.
The outcome is eerily similar to the outcome of black rule in Africa: massive corruption, high crime and violence rates and economic collapse.
So is it all just about ideology? Not so fast - there is evidence that racial and ethnic groups have quite specific attitudes towards corruption and government power, which seem to be related to cultural and biological factors.
Asian people have a rather high average IQ, especially for math and logic, not as high in linguistics, yet liberty in Asian countries is extremely limited, they always lived under rather authoritarian (and corrupt) regimes and their degree of innovation is incredibly low. Which is a reminder of how strongly innovation correlates with liberty.
Asians in the US tend to do extremely well as scientists and engineers, but rarely go into fields that require strong verbal skills, such as lawyer, journalist or writer. This preference remains strong even among 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants, even where they achieved a perfect integration into their host country.
My guess is that a free society requires both, strong logical as well as verbal skills to negotiate mutually satisfying rules for a peaceful, free coexistence. When leaders are not good negotiators, they seem to fall into authoritarian behavior patterns. And authoritarianism is poison to innovation.
Education and racism
The German "Green" (Marxist) party demands that math and other "hard" branches should be abolished as part of the mandatory high school education. They used the picture of a black girl in their ad promoting this anti-education agenda - I guess she is supposed to be a victim of those evil math lessons.
Meanwhile Oxford wants to "decolonize" math and science as a sign of support for BLM:

Fortunately, these black students at a South African university explained what they mean when they talk about "decolonization". They want science to "fall" and replace it with their ancestral African tradition of magic. Because, as one student says, "magic works" ... I kid you not!
If you think that's the most stupid thing you ever heard, you're probably not wrong. And that's what Oxford is now importing to Europe...

All these efforts to reduce the intellectual demands of education to benefit blacks and Hispanics and basically railroad white, Asian and Jewish students can only mean one thing: that leftists perfectly know that there is a significant IQ difference between those groups and that education, social benefits etc. have done absolutely nothing to reduce the gap over the last 100 years.

In an famous case, an activist judge in Atlanta, GA, forced the State government to spend billions of dollars on creating racially mixed schools and massive investments into infrastructure and teaching personnel. 20 years later, absolutely nothing had changed, except that they now had a few more formerly luxurious school and sports buildings.
The left and racist organizations such as BLM respond with denial and political demands:

- lower the academic requirements for black and Hispanic students

All of the above imply huge costs and zero benefits. A highly developed, modern society requires a fairly high average IQ and a significant number of very high IQ individuals with a top notch education to work as scientists, doctors, engineers, managers and entrepreneurs.
Instead of trying to identify and promote the smartest individuals - irrespective of race - and help them advance our societies, leftists think that it is "unfair" that the IQ distribution is so different among races and thus want to force everyone down to the lowest common denominator.
The outcome will be what we see from that university in South Africa: science will fall and along with it our modern civilization.

Importing the 3rd world
Given the spectacular mismanagement of African and Islamic countries, western countries under ideological UN leadership did the most logical thing: import millions of Africans and Muslims - what could possibly go wrong?
This mass migration, which is entirely financed by western governments, leads to what is a population replacement. But anyone who points out the obvious is automatically called a "conspiracy theorist".

One probably could find sufficiently motivated and competent workers, but that would require the definition of specific criteria an immigrant would have to fulfill. But that's not what western governments do. The UN migration chief's declaration was very clear: the goal was a forced demographic change.
The ideology - Coudenhove-Kalergi
The underlying motivation is clearly ideological and it can be found in, among others, Coudenhove-Kalergi, an author who is officially considered a major inspiration for the EU, which regularly awards a Coudenhove-Kalergi prize. Recipients include Merkel, Rompuy, Junker and other major EU politicians:

Coudenhove-Kalergi was the son of a Hungarian aristocrat and a Japanese mother. As half Asian, he felt out of place, in Europe - he resented his ethnically mixed nature. He was also a Marxist. He was a strong supporter of a central European government.

Basically, Coudenhove-Kalergi was a just another fascist who thought that he could decide what society should look like and which population group should rule.
While I'm personally rather philosemite and greatly admire the innumerable Jewish geniuses who contributed so much to human progress, it would never, ever occur to me that their intelligence should give them any kind of power over other people - just as a lower IQ does not imply the loss of individual rights.
A high IQ is extremely useful for problem solving and innovation, but even the highest intelligence does not prevent catastrophic mistakes. If a person reasons based on false assumptions, the outcome will necessarily be flawed. Every single intellectual who supports Marxism is a perfect illustration of that principle.
Our knowledge is always insufficient. Lots of knowledge is individual, personal and local and that's the kind of knowledge that is most useful for innovation and wealth creation, when combined with a spirit of innovation and a solid economic incentive to help overcome natural apathy.
Even the most intelligent individuals will never be able to do better than the intelligence of crowds, which requires personal and economic liberty for its development.
The idea of imposing radical demographic changes through government based on completely false and absurd assumptions is horrifying and no better than the Nazi or Bolshevik genocides.

None of this would be a problem if the immigrant populations had the same average faculties and upheld the same values as the populations of western countries and they were well-disposed towards the local populations.

I perfectly understand where the idea that "diversity is a good thing" stems from - as student, I immensely enjoyed the diversity of my co-students, which included Norwegians, Central Africans, Syrians, Vietnamese and Argentinians, among many others.
Except that students are not typical or average. They have a far above average IQ, they are intellectually curious, often mentally flexible, willing to learn and in a stimulating environment.
Individual economic migrants are also willing to be flexible, to adapt and to integrate into the culture they choose to immigrate into.
This does not reflect what happens when entire population groups migrate as "refugees" and bring their own culture and values with them. Thomas Sowell documented this extensively. Migrant groups may preserve their original culture almost unchanged for up to 5 generations and might seem archaic to the people from their home country after a few decades.
Too late?
Yes, it is probably too late to change much. This will merely serve as documentation about how racist hatred, Marxist ideology, arrogance and virtue signaling destroyed the most advanced, the most free societies in human history.
Instead of supporting 2nd and 3rd world countries to overcome their limitations, western countries will be dragged down to the level of those 3rd world countries.
In the worst case, the world might turn into an Orwellian nightmare where the majority of the people will have been dumbed down, impoverished and left without any perspective.
