The Philippine Presidential Election of 2010 wasn't the first time Smartmatic's Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were used in national elections, that honour (or dishonour), as far as I know, goes to Venezuela, which is where Smartmatic was born...and that story definitely warrants it's own section!

The Philippines story though is a good introduction to world of Smartmatic, and it's chairman Mark Malloch Brown...who also happens to be chairman of Best for Britain.

Have a watch of this video and it will become clear that Mark Malloch Brown has been involved in 'shaping' elections since the 1980s, in the Philippines at least, and more recently with his Smartmatic company...around the world.

This is just one in the series of 'Anatomy of a Fraud' videos on Dayaang Matuwid's YouTube channel - and it's well worth watching them all.

There are plenty of articles regarding irregularities using Smartmatic EVMs, and the Philippine Electoral Commission (Comelec)...and not just in 2010, there's lots more on this in the videos.

For the complete list of articles in this series please visit the Contents page, and follow my 'Stealing Democracy' group for lots of related 'stuff'. If you think as I do that this deserves maximum exposure, please share.

Just by way of a disclaimer, I'm making no accusations myself of any wrong doings, I'm just gathering information that's available on-line, which may or may not include accusations by others, and collating it here for your perusal.
