Invasive.

There is a problem for boaters who travel along the Mississippi river these days. That problem is a species of fish called an Asian Carp. They are a problem because of their tendency to leap out of the water whenever a motorized boat passes a school of them. This has resulted in minor injuries  including a few boating accidents as seemingly hundreds of fish leap from the water and onto the boats of boaters. The reason the fish do this very curious thing is because apparently where Asian Carp exist organically, motorized boats are uncommon. Asian Carp are an invasive species that were brought to the region to correct a problem that local fish farmers were having with a species that ironically is native to the Mississippi river. Most are usually used to control the populations of a native species or simply because hobbyists who illegally owned them released them because they no longer wanted to take responsibility for them. As in the case of the Asian Carp, most of the animals do not assimilate to the environments they are introduced to, especially when introduced hastily. Instead of adapting smoothly to their new environments, they are far more likely to alter it for the worse.

There are thousands of illegals from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador are headed to our U.S. border. By some estimates there are somewhere between 5000 and 7000 migrants headed to the United States border - not for actual political asylum due to persecution in their country, but because they believe they have a right to earn a living in the United States regardless of the rule of law that clearly states that wanting to work in the U.S. is not a legal reason to be granted citizenship. These are overwhelmingly young men, and they are also carrying flags that represents their birth nation...they are not carrying the American flag. Some are even choosing to burn the American flag instead. They were also undeterred by the Mexican government's attempt to stop their migration.

What does this mean?

This suggests that they have no interest in assimilation, they simply want to use the country's newest precious resource...our great economy.  Like an invasive species, immigration on this scale will most likely result in the immigrants changing the landscape of America. They are more likely to make America more like the countries they are running from. They are not likely to embrace loyalty to the United States. Americans will have to adapt to them and this will likely  increase American resentment.  The thousands of migrates in the caravan on their way to the United States border will eventually be far more costly to our environment than a benefit to it.The thousands of poor unskilled and uneducated people will likely end up remaining poor for a very long time and will overwhelmingly live in communities currently dominated by Americas poor black population. History proves that this often does not result in a peaceful coexistence. Evidence of the past shows that it never does work very well, especially for the poor people of the United States who will pay the highest cost for the invasion.
