So, I decided to pick up this kindle download https://www.amazon.com/dp/1733948910/ It was a quick read and did decide pretty quickly that this would be a good subject to tackle. This review will contain spoilers.

So, Right off the bat, I did notice that this book does have some parallels to The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress  By Robert A. Heinlein although I'm not sure that was intentional. Not to highlight the comparison too much, but this was a much easier read. I also spotted a few other nods to some really great writing styles. Let's dig into the meat of it.

I like how each chapter in the book is a highlight of a different character's perspective. The narrative jumps around a lot and its kind of hard to keep your Head in the story trying to find that offhand remark to let you know where you are. That bit aside, I do want to point out some very original aspects of this story. There is an AI and his name is Levi, and the story revolves around people trying to stop Levi from doing what he is planning. What is he planning? Actually, you don't get a lot of motivation about Levi, but what he accomplishes amounts to taking over the world by using the power of providing low cost highly efficient goods and services. I think the best parts are when The State and the corporatist try every dirty underhanded trick in the book to stop him, and he turns the tables by just exposing them or allowing them to fall through karmic justice. I just wish the book spent more time on Levi's thought process

I don't want to spoil the whole thing, so if you have a few bucks and a little spare time, I recommend picking up the kindle version. Go ahead and pick it up and leave me a comment.
