There are a few things I'd like to note before I proceed to the body of this post. This is my first ever attempt at a blog, so I'm not sure how well it will go. I'm also unsure of a schedule for content creation. There are a few ideas I have that I will write posts for as the mood strikes. This particular post is my full response to an image originally posted by my friend @thinkerbelle. Even though we disagree, we are willing to hear one another out and learn from one another. I tried to post the image with this blog post, but the banner format makes it so that it can't easily be read. The text of the image is as follows:
Now here's a man who understands women...
William Golding British Novelist, Playwright, & Poet 1911-1993
I think women are foolish to pretend that they are equal to men. They are superior and always have been. Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she will give you a baby. If you give her a house, she will give you a home. If you give her groceries, she will give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she will give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, Be ready to receive a ton of shit!
True!
I don’t like ass-kissing. I don’t want to do it to others, and I don’t want others to do it to me. As for ass-kissing that does not involve me, the involved parties have the right to do so, but I still find it cringey and distasteful. This relates to MGTOW through the principles of the preservation of male dignity and male self-respect. Therefore, a man who prostrates himself at the altar of femininity to gain female validation, is a very distasteful thing to me. Quite apart from being distasteful regarding male dignity and self-respect, it is also distasteful regarding the indirect implication about female character and ego. What does it say about women that they revel in having their egos pumped regularly just for existing and being female? So the title in the image “Now here’s a man who understands women...” immediately strikes me as really meaning “Now here’s a man who is willing to relinquish his dignity and self-respect to kiss my ass as a woman for a pat on the head like a good dog.”
Moving on to the next part of the image, the featured quote is attributed to William Golding, a British novelist, poet, and playwright. He lived from 1911-1993. Now if feminist assertions about men are to be believed, especially regarding men of Golding’s generation, he would be very patriarchal, oppressive, and a male chauvinist. However, upon examination of the quote in the image, the opposite appears to be true. The first two sentences contain an obvious gynocentric and supremacist message. However they also indicate a very narcissistic stratification that The Honey Badgers have referred to as “one good man syndrome.” By calling women foolish for not recognizing their superiority to men, he is placing himself above women by recognizing something he doesn’t think they do. The “one good man” does this as a strategy to distinguish himself for female validation. By pumping female egos and disparaging men, he hopes to earn his “who’s a good boy?” pat on the head. In addition to this, I find it incredible that a man who was a boy during WWI and a military service aged man during WWII could be so callous against men, especially after millions were drafted and killed or maimed.
Regarding the next sentence, I think its bullshit. The things listed in the following sentences can easily be disputed. Quite apart from that, they require confirmation bias to motivate the mental gymnastics to avoid the logical consequences of negative interpretation. I seriously doubt that Golding and others who think like this think that “whatever you give a woman, she will make greater” applies to negative things which do not reflect on the man. For instance if you give a woman a credit loan, she will turn it into crippling debt because she is an impulsive shopper and had to have those shoes. That is not something gynocentrists would consider as “making greater” because it paints women in a negative light.
Examining the other examples given, the same negative interpretation could be applied. If you give her sperm, she will use the child as leverage and the state as force by proxy to extort you for money. Simply shitting out a child is not an achievement. It is an automatic biological function, given insemination. If you give her a house, she’ll kick you out and take it from you, using the VAWA laws and the police. Or she’ll turn it into her home, by taking up the most space for her stuff and redecorating everything in a way that alienates you. The kitchen always has to be redone. The walls always have to be repainted. The carpets always need to be replaced. She always nags you to fix or clean something. If you give her groceries, she’ll bitch at you about being sexist and expecting her to cook. American millennial women don’t know how to cook. I wouldn’t be surprised if most American women don’t. It’s a point of pride for many of them. If you give her a smile, she’ll accuse you of sexual harassment. Her heart is fickle and her love is fleeting. She is a slave to her hypergamous instincts to seek the highest status mate she can attract. She only loves the man who offers her highest potential servitude until a better potential servant comes along. The next sentence in the quote is more fluff about multiplying and enlarging anything she is involved in. The final sentence is further bullshit about don’t give her crap or else. In other words, be a good little slave and you won’t get whipped.
Gynocentrism is also why there isn’t a male version of this quote being circulated and facilitating gendered ego masturbation. “I think men are foolish to pretend that they are equal to women. They are far superior and always have been. Whenever there is a need for improvement, men create and innovate from scratch. They build places to live. They provide. They protect. So if you give him shit, prepare to get hit.” I have a feeling this would not make women very happy. The funny thing is, all of the information available to us indicates that this is more true than the gynocentric version of the quote. IQ data comparing men and women both have standard distribution. However, the female bell curve is higher and narrower than the male bell curve, which is lower and wider. This means that there are more women in the average IQ range than men, and that there are more men on the extreme ends. Therefore, there are more stupid men than women, yes, but there are also more genius men than women. The result is a society that has a male majority of people who struggle for individual success on merit, as well as a being dependent on men for societal function and advancement. You are invariably reading this from an artificial cave designed and built by men, on a device designed and built by men, etc.
My point is that women aught to be more appreciative of men, and not take them so for granted, while reducing their own in group narcissism.
